Melanie bowed her head looking ashamed but I did not want to fall for her tricks anymore. I looked at Mason, who also had a guilty smile on his face.

What Alex had told me came back into my mind. He knew about all that had happened. He knew what his sister had done and yet he was still going to cover-up for her. He just did not care at all.

'"Tiana....please calm down. I think that there has been some kind of misunderstanding here and you are very tight to be angry about what almost happened to you, yesterday. We can talk about this and get to the bottom of it," mason told me.

I smiled bitterly. Talk bs get to the bottom of it? What else was there to talk about? Everyone knew what Melanie had done and yet it was a fact that she won't have to face the consequences of her actions. She was still going to get away with it like she had done nothing at all.

"Misunderstanding? What do we have to talk about here? I just don't get it..." I said, a ghostly smile on my face.
