If Alex was able to get Tiana out of this pack then it would be difficult, almost impossible for me to ever see her again.

I knew that Alex won't fight me head on. He would try to escape to protect Tiana.

If he fought with me, he could get distracted and I could always ask Melanie to hide Tiana away.
