Tarzan's POV.

My mouth fell open as I watched the scene that was in front of me. I grabbed onto Daze's arm to make sure I was not dreaming. I could feel a sudden coldness that hit my core so hard. I honestly did not think that that lady could be such a hooligan and so fierce. I honestly thought that they had come here to find a rich guy to hook up with, but the hatred I saw in her eyes toward that guy and how she beat the hell out of him made me think otherwise. I truly thought that all the decent women were no more, but what she did gave me hope.

"All the women are the same, you say," Daze scoffed as he rose from the chair. "I'm leaving now. I don't feel like drinking after what I saw," he said and left me alone to sit in the bar.

I was absolutely astounded by what I witnessed - a bold and fierce young lady. I found myself intrigued and eager to learn more about her, a feeling that is quite rare for me. Her tone was filled with disdain for men, and her eyes blazed with an intense hatred that left me in awe. It's a shame that I had to dismiss her from my company, as even if I were to offer her a position, her immense pride would have made it unlikely for her to accept. Nonetheless, I must say that I wholeheartedly approve of her unwavering confidence and determination.

I got off the chair and decided to visit my grandma. After Daze left I lost all the appetite to drink or hook up with anyone. Rising off the chair I left the bar.

It did not take me a lot of time to drive because my grandmother's house was far from the bar. I stopped my car in front of a big and luxurious mansion. I got out of the car and headed inside the house where I was welcomed by my bunch of maids at the door.

"Good evening Young Master. Old madam is in her study room." One of the maids bowed her head and said,

I just nodded my head slightly and headed to the elevator, I got inside. In no time the elevator dinged and I stepped out and went to my Grandma's study room,

I must say, my grandmother never ceases to amaze me. As usual, she was engrossed in her laptop, typing away with the utmost focus. Despite being in her late 50s, she still looks as youthful as ever. Her long, jet-black hair cascaded down her back, and her skin was smooth and flawless, showing no signs of aging. She looked just like my father, but even more beautiful.

"Granny," I called out to her, causing her to raise her head and look at me. I pulled up a chair and sat in front of her. "Will you ever take a break? It's time for you to retire and enjoy some rest."

My grandmother scoffed and shut her laptop, giving me a stern glare. "Is that how you greet your elders?" she asked. "Anyway, I'm glad you're here. I wanted to discuss your wedding with you."

My mouth fell open in surprise. It was no surprise that visiting this wise old Lady always led to some sort of trouble, but I had hoped that this time she would forget about her matchmaking schemes. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. As a 30-year-old man, there was no escaping her persistent efforts to find me a wife. "Granny," I hesitated, searching for the right words to express my feelings. "I'm not sure if marriage is for me."

My grandmother cast a stern glance in my direction, but I stood my ground. "Regrettably, I was not inquiring, but rather informing you that you must get married," she declared, crossing her arms over her chest. It was as clear as day that she would not accept no for an answer. "You are well aware that I only have two years left to live. Do you want me to pass away without ever holding my grandchildren in my arms?" she inquired, her voice softening. "Tazern, I only want what is best for you. I want you to find a spouse and settle down while I am still alive so that my soul may rest in peace after I pass away. Don't you wish  the same?"

I swallowed hard, feeling a lump form in my throat. The thought of losing my grandmother was so painful that I wished I could do something to cure her cancer, but it was too late now, and nothing could be done. "Granny, if I am unable to find a wife within a month, then you may marry me off to whomever you choose," I informed her, even though I did not want to.

My grandmother's face radiated with joy as I agreed to fulfill her last wish. Although I initially hesitated, I couldn't bear to see her sad because of me. Deep down, I knew that she only wanted what was best for me. Her words of wisdom echoed in my mind, "I understand that you may be hesitant to marry after what happened to your father, but not all women are the same. God will bless you with a unique and beautiful wife."

As I pondered her words, a smile crept onto my face and my thoughts drifted to the Lady at the bar. I regretted chasing her away from my company. If her actions were genuine, she truly embodies the unique qualities my grandmother spoke of. The intensity in her eyes as she fought off that man was unmistakable, and her courage was truly impressive. It's a shame that I may never cross paths with her again.

"Did you meet someone already?" My grandma asked, snapping me out of my daze. "Tell me now, who is she?"

"I'm feeling very sleepy, Granny," I said, rising from the chair quickly. "Good night, I will take my leave now." I walked out of the study.

I could hear my grandmother bursting into laughter, but I did not pay attention to her. She was really impossible, but I loved her nonetheless. I had agreed to get married because she said so, and I was determined to investigate the girl at the bar and find more information about her. Perhaps I could offer her a contract marriage. She would agree because girls of her time had so much pride that they wouldn't accept any penny from anyone. I would offer her a job in return for our fake marriage.

…. The next day.

Dolah's POV.

"Oh my, how different you look now"! Pinny exclaimed, clapping her hands with excitement. As I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, I couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance to a man, except for my unmistakable green eyes.

"But what about my ID card and CV?" I asked anxiously, turning to face Pinny who stood behind me." I'm terrified of being caught and ending up in jail."

"Fear not, Dolah," Pinny reassured me, placing her hands encouragingly on my shoulders. I've taken care of everything. I spoke with the CEO's assistant and explained the situation. He's willing to help us. So just relax, my dear. I won't let anything happen to you as long as I'm alive. "

"When did you speak with him?" I inquired, with a furrowed brow

"Last night, when you fell asleep," Pinny said, "I saw them at the bar yesterday. I used my connection to talk to him, and he agreed under one condition."

"And what is the condition?" I asked.

"Dolah, my dear, please don't ask too many questions. Just go there and work very hard, okay?"

But-__, "

I hesitated, wanting to know more about the condition, but Pinny interrupted me.

"Shhh! Don't say another word. Just go to work and don't worry about the condition. Trust me, I'm a big girl now, and you don't have to worry about me, okay?"

"But____"

I opened my mouth to speak again, but Pinny was already pulling me out of the chair and towards the door.

"Come on, get up now," she said. "Let's go. You'll do great, I just know it."

I was quite intrigued by the condition she had just mentioned. However, it was evident that she had no intention of divulging any further information. Despite my curiosity, I had no choice but to patiently listen to her. To my delight, she hailed a taxi for me and I eagerly got inside, excited to head to the company.

After just half an hour, the taxi came to a halt in front of a massive corporation. Stepping out of the vehicle, I found myself gazing up at a towering building. Taking a deep breath, I made my way inside. This time, no one paid me any mind - everyone was too engrossed in their work to notice me, mistaking me for a man.

I cleared my throat, deepening my voice to sound more masculine. "Good morning, sir. I'm here for the job application."

The receptionist looked up at me, and my heart skipped a beat. Had he realized I was a woman? "The elevator will take you to the thirtieth floor, where you'll find Mr. Ward's office. He'll take you to see the CEO," he said.

I breathed a sigh of relief, realizing I'd been worried for nothing. Stepping into the elevator, I was relieved to find it empty. In no time, the doors opened, and I made my way into the office.

KNOCK!! KNOCK!!

I knocked on the door.

"Come on in," the deep voice from inside warmly welcomed me. I opened the door and stepped inside, and was immediately struck by the grandeur of the luxurious office. The room boasted three comfortable chairs, a vast library filled with all manner of books, and a small coffee table with a plush couch. I approached one of the chairs and stood there, taking in the opulence of the space.

"Good morning, sir. My friend mentioned that she had spoken with you," I said softly, hoping to convey my admiration for the man before me. He looked up from his work and smiled when his eyes met mine.

"Please, take a seat," he gestured to the chair in front of him. I pulled it out and sat down.

"I must say, you have a unique look," the man chuckled. "I had a pleasant conversation with your friend yesterday, and I assure you, your secret is safe with me. My friend entrusted me with the task of finding his assistant, and I will ensure that you are not suspected in any way. Simply follow his instructions, complete your work on time, and avoid any disagreements."

"May I ask, sir, what conditions were agreed upon with my friend?" I inquired, mindful of my friend's well-being.

The man chuckled once more. "Please don't worry, I am not a malicious person. I simply wish to enjoy a cup of coffee with her, nothing more."

I glared at him, my tone stern. "I sincerely hope you are being truthful, or else I may forget my manners and have to remind you of who I am."

"Wow, I admire your courage but don't worry. Come on, let's go." He said.

The two of us left his office, heading to the CEO's office.

Tarzan's POV.

As I was engrossed in perusing some crucial documents on my laptop, Daze made his way into my office, accompanied by a gentleman. As they approached me, my gaze inadvertently fell upon the man behind him. His eyes seemed familiar, yet I couldn't quite place them. My heart began to race as they drew closer. I distinctly recall my heart skipping a beat just yesterday when I laid eyes on that young lady. Was I now developing an attraction toward men? What was happening to me?

"Hello, Tazeen. How are you?" Daze warmly greeted me as he pulled up a chair and sat down. The gentleman accompanying him remained standing, silent. I couldn't help but admire his emerald green eyes, trying to recall where I had seen them before. Suddenly, the image of the lady at the bar flashed through my mind. Could it be that she was the same person? But how was that even possible? No, it must be my imagination running wild.

"Tazern, where are you lost?" Daze frowned, snapping me out of my daze. "He is Don, your new personal assistant. Don't worry about his background because I've checked everything about him, the only thing that is left is to show him around and teach him everything he needs to know."

"Okay then, I'm sure he knows how office words go on and I hope he is as good as you are," I said, my eyes lingering on the guy next to Daze.

"Don't worry sir, I know how to do my job properly, you won't be disappointed," he assured me in a deep, resonant voice.

Although it was clear that he was not male, I decided to keep my suspicions to myself. After all, there was nothing else about him that seemed out of the ordinary. He was impeccably dressed in a neatly pressed suit, his shoes were polished to a shine, and his hair was neatly combed, even though he wore a cap.

"Well then, if you've checked everything, let's get to work. Please show him around the company."

"Thank you for the opportunity, sir, I will not let you down."The guy Don said, bowing his head slightly.
