Alpha Derek's POV

Glancing around, I could not find her. My heart trailed to the other side which led to the wood. I felt a sharp pain in my heart. My mate was in trouble or perhaps was not feeling too well.

An unknown force drawn my entire body in to the wood. I shifted into my wolf form with panic in my heart. I was afraid that she must have been hurt. On reaching the entrance of the wood, I shifted back into a human form, increasing my walking pace as my nose was tracing for her scent.
