Ariana's POV

Claire's question was still ringing in my head for about ten seconds after she said it. Colin had an infection? Claire and the doctor were covered and I wasn't? As I tried to remember exactly how they had been inside the hospital room, now I remembered that truly they had been covered. The only part of their bodies that hadn't been covered had been their eyes and that was what I had used to read their expressions. I don't think I had noticed it, and even if I had, I don't think I would have paid much mind to it. I hadn't been trained in the medical field so I didn't see covering up the body as something quite important.

As I looked down on the attire I was wearing, I noticed that it was quite flimsy. I was putting on an armless white top with black ripped jeans and brown sandals that had long straps.
