“YO! EMIE!”

Greeting her like they are just friends and with no hierarchy and respectful words that he should address her. Emie shoves it off as he is the use of how playful, naughty, but cunning he is. Different from what his character is written in the book, but then in a deeper sense is his façade.

She looks at him and said. “You are finally here, Carlos.”

Addressing him back by his name with a tone of dismay that is indirectly telling him that he shouldn’t act like they are equal for he is below her.
