CHAPTER CCLV

     (POEM OF THE PAST)  

    “WHY AM I EVEN BORN?”

     The question that she often asks herself and unto the mirror. Wondering about the said life that she feels like she shouldn’t have. She stares at her reflection studying her figure in the cold room of her chambers where the only source of light is one candlelight, which lets her see her naked self. 

     “What’s the purpose of my life? Just who am I to serve?”

     Asking these thoughts and questions makes her different than the rest, alone, mysterious, yet she loves to be. She carefully slips her favorite black dress, plain, simple, and ominously in the front and the sense, yet she does not care less. 

     “My lady, it is time.”

     Her lady-in-waiting informs her, yet did not dare to
