After ending the call with Allison, I told my secretary to get back to work and asked her to cancel all the plans she had for me for the day.

"I'm on an early honeymoon; I'm about to get married, and so I'm making sure everything is set.” I lied; I couldn't tell her I was at war, as I knew how rumors within the human world spread.

“Oh my god, congratulations, sir. Is it the woman you bought flowers for?”

“No. But it is not important.” I said and then dismissed her as she closed the door. I stood up from my seat and told Kaden we were going to the Shadow Walkers pack.

Kaden didn't ask why, as he just respectively followed behind. In a few seconds, we were in the car, and before I knew it, we were at the Shadow Walkers pack.

“Call Stephen and ask him to prepare the men; I'll be meeting Aubree later.”

“Who?”

“Aubree,” I said; her name didn't bother me anymore. I was signing with a potential investor, and Aubree seemed desperate to be with me, so I was happy.
