GOMEZ RESIDENCE*

Francesca paced to and fro in the living dialing a number repeatedly but it giving her a negative answers.

She dialed it again but it not reachable. 

"Niko, why aren't you picking?" She asked herself, worries filled on her face.

She had been trying his number for days but it wasn't responding and she soon got worried.

She sat dejectedly still trying it but it still the same. She dropped the phone frustratingly and folded her arms.

Suddenly, someone came in and it turned out to be her supposed boyfriend, Henry.

He doesn't look like an Italian because he's actually from U.S practically based in Russia.

"Hey!" 

"Henry!" She called, her voice low.

"What happened to your face!" He asked.

"Is there anything on my face?"

"No, your expression!, Is there anything wrong?"

"It Niko,he hasn't been picking my calls nor replying my messages!" She replied.

"Where does he works!" He asked.

"He didn't tell me where he works, he only told he that he is a security!" Francesca replied and Henry furrowed his brows.

"Security?" He repeated and Francesca nodded.

"Do you believe that?"

"Yeah, what am I supposed to believe!" She nudged her shoulders.

"Ok fine.....!"

DUMP AREA*

Two mobsters on masks carried a body wrapped in black clothing to the area. 

Mostly, the vipers dump dead bodies when not needed by using sands to cover them up or rather leave it for the vultures to feed on.

The mobsters dropped the body and took a shovel, pouring sands on it.

They only covered it a little and left the dump area immediately.

Few minutes later, footsteps were heard as a dark figure walked to the dump area particularly to the body that was just covered.

The figure uncovered the sand then the clothing's used to wrap it revealing Niko's limp body which was already getting dry.

His eyes went to his wristwatch to check the time and his eyes went wide.

Instantly, he brought out an injection filled with a unique substances and injected it into Niko's neck immediately, emptying the substance into it.

He almost threw the syringe away but he held it back and waited for a few minutes while roaming his eyes around for any slight and suspicious movement.

Suddenly, someone coughed and the figure turned to see Niko's breath coming back slowly and a dark smirk appeared on his face.

Niko's eyes blinked slowly as it became blurry for a minutes before eit flickered open finally.

His breath came back fully as he groaned sitting up.

Niko's eyes darted around as it landed on the figure in front of him.

"Who are you?" He asked.

The figure removed his mask revealing Henry and his eyes went wide.

"Henry!" 

"When, how did you get here?" He asked, his eyes scrutinizing his surroundings.

"Look, you're no more in the clan. They believe you're dead so you need to leave now before anyone could see you!" He added and he frowned curiously.

"How come!"

"This!" He replied raising the syringe.

"I gave it to someone to inject you with it, it will make you dead until two hours later. If I hadn't injected you with this chronosin by now, you'll have been automatically dead!" He replied.

"You deceived them!" Hie eyes widened and he nodded.

"We need to leave Niko, your sister is waiting for you!" Henry urged.

"My legs.......I can't move them.!" He groaned as pains gripped him when he tried to move.

"You got bullet in them!" Henry exclaimed.

He sighed and carried Niko on his shoulders, he was weighted but he ignored it as he walked out of the dump area secretly.

DARK VIPERS CLAN*

Lila had gums in her mouth as she chewed on it continuously while walking towards her suite.

Suddenly, her eyes caught Blaze and Lilith together and she halted on her tracks facing them completely.

Her lips stopped moving as she fixed her gaze on them.

When did they start talking?

She felt something hit her on her chest and she held it tightly closing her eyes in pains.

She never likes trusting anyone but the fact that she's opening up to Blaze is making her hurt.

Why the heck is she feeling this? She doesn't want to get hurt again? No, not after what she passed through!!!

She clamps her lips together as she saw them leave her sight.

Instantly, Onyx came towards her placing his hands on her neck and she became startled as she flinched.

She turned back to see Onyx.

"Hey!" She yelled pointing her index finger at him.

"Are you scared?" He chuckled and she let out a frown, rolling her eyes.

"You seem lonely, isn't scar supposed to be here!" He asked.

"Just shut up, your begining to talk too much!" She snapped and he lifted his brows.

"Ion talk much, I talk less!" He said placing emphasis on the Less.

"Indeed!" She rolled her eyeballs.

LUCIFER'S LAIR*

Tatiana walked into the suite to see Lucifer on a seat, a laptop placed in front of him. His eyes were glued on it as he didn't turn to check who just came in.

"Here's your coffee Master!" She muttered.

He faced up turning his gaze to see her with a cup on a little tray.

"Drop it!" He snapped and she quickly dropped it on a nearby table waiting for him to tell her to leave.

Suddenly, he stood up and walked towards her in a fast pace andahe furrowed her brows wondering why he's coming closer to her.

Her breath quickened as he grabbed her to himself pulling her away, just then, glasses shattered on the position where Tatiana stood earlier.

She wasn't concentrating as her gaze were on Lucifer who was still holding her. She could feel his hot breath fanning her face softly as hers hitched slowly.

Hie eyes were locked on hers as none of them were planning to break the contact.

His bergamot scent hovered around her as it was the only thing she could inhale in.

Soon, he regained his senses and he broke the contact moving away from her immediately. 

"F*ck!" He cursed, running his hands through his dark hair.

He placed a straight look on his face. "You should be more conscious, clean it up!" He demanded and left for his inner room.

Tatiana inhaled slowly, she was actually breathless in his hold earlier as she had her chest. 

Her eye went to the broken glasses and she gasped. It would have met her head if he hadn't stepped in.

She bent over it and started packing up the broken pieces into a clean towel. Mistakenly, one of the glasses pierced her fingers and she winced, her voice low.

"Ahhh!" 

She soon packed it up and went to the nearest bin outside the suite, disposing it immediately before going back in to meet Lucifer dressed completely different.

He took his hat from his hanger before him placing it on his head...his mind were somewhere else.

He hasn't been this nice, when did he start being nice? 

If it was someone else, he'll have allowed the glasses to fall on her head without caring but here he was saving someone.

He wasn't the type to do such as he became confused!!!

He sighed.

"You should go see your father tomorrow!" He blurted and her eyes widened in surprise.

"Really!!!" She exclaimed loudly, her heart beaming happily.

He didn't reply as he took he placed his watch on his wrist....

Without thinking twice, she didn't hesitate before running towards Lucifer jumping on him out of excitement.
