EIGHTY-SEVEN

H POV

I watch as she then curls into a ball on the cot. My watch goes off again. I make my way out of the cell when I feel the bottle of liquid sedative in my pants pocket; I get the glass out of my backpack that I bought with me and put some water into it with some of the sedatives as well. I then go back into the cell, over to Charlotte and make her sit up.

"Drink this now!"

She refuses to drink. I move closer to her and give her a backhand, making her fall back on the cot. I pull her into the sitting position again and hold out the glass of water.

"DRINK!"

This time she takes the glass from me and drinks it between her fresh sobs. She then lays back down sobbing. As I leave the cell, I refill the glass with more water, add some sedatives, and head to where Maverick is with Scarlett. I knock on the side of the cell and say,

"Come on, we have to get back and she needs to drink this now!"

I then put the glass of water on the thick crossbar. I turn and head for the entrance, where I w
