Dracaryx surveyed the faces of those in the council. They didn't exactly look happy to be here. This were the original survivors of the Vitale family.

"Why have you summoned us here?" one of them, a vampire named Yedam asked.

"We received letters from the alliance in the early hours of the morning" Dracaryx replied as he held up the letters.

"What do they say?" Yedam asked.

"I haven't read them yet, I thought it would be better I read it in front of all of you" Dracaryx answered.

"Good call! Go ahead and read it let's hear what they want to say" another vampire told Dracaryx.

"If they want war, we will give it to them" Yedam said.
