Emberlynn wore a flowing white dress, cinched at the waist, with a silver belt adorned with a small delicate moonstone.

Slipping on comfortable, sturdy boots, she straightened as Damien approached her.

"Where are you going again and why?" he asked her, clasping a delicate silver chain with a small, intricately designed pendant in the shape of a wolf's head.

"Lycan Night's pack house," Emberlynn stated, grabbing one of Damien's woolen fur coats and slipping it on.

It was always snowing in the mountainside, and Damien had the best collection of fur coats that could ward off the cold.

"That's far into the mountain and close to a day's journey!" he exclaimed, then his eyes narrowed, "Are you meeting a man?"

"Come on," Emberlynn punched his shoulder. "We were just intimate a while ago, and whose name did I scream while swimming in bliss?"

"Mine," Damien said. "But that doesn't explain the fact that I don't know exactly why you are going there."
