101: Digging deep

Immediately I arrived at my workplace, my boss Mr. Richards asked me to come over to his office and I was only anticipating what he might want to talk to me about.

As I walked towards Mr. Richards' office, my heart started racing with anticipation and a bit of nervousness. I wondered what he could want to talk to me about. Was I in trouble? Did I do something wrong? Or was it something positive, like a promotion or a raise?

When I reached his door, I took a deep breath and knocked softly. "Come in," I heard him say from inside.
