Orla's POV

Nervous is an understatement to describe my current situation. I dislike being the center of attention, and I am currently the center of attention for a large crowd which is making me even more anxious.

The students in the red group are encouraging me. I have heard that the candidate chosen to compete in the golf tournament against me is the champion of this sport. I am confident that I will not win the game because I have started playing it just a week before.

As my gaze moved around the crowd, it came to rest on Lycan King, who was sitting in the back, appreciating me and giving me the thumbs up with a broad confident smile on his lips.

He was just motivating me on the way to school. He knows the boy who will be playing against me is very good at this game, and I am terrified, but he encouraged me by saying I could beat him in four days of practice. I just sat there listening to him the entire trip because I was too nervous to say anything.

I inhaled deeply and nodded.
