68. Dead!

Author's POV

"Valerina"

Augustus cried and rushed towards her.

Hybrids and Serenity rushed towards them.

"Carlos!"

Serenity growled at him.

"Not my fault, you cursed them... It worked, she is dead now..."

He laughed.

Augustus looked at her lifeless face and his tears fell down like an open tap.

"Sunshine, please open your eyes..."

He held her closer to his chest and cried in agony.

"Please, no!"

He kissed her forehead.

"Please, Please come back..."

He pleaded.

"I told you not to love me... I told you!"

"Augustus!"

Serenity sat beside him. She caressed Valerina's face as tears fell down from her eyes.

"Bring her back!"

He looked at Serenity with helpless eyes.

"I'll die without her."

She cupped his face.

"Don't loose hope... We can___"

Carlos threw fire at them, it didn't hurt Serenity and Augustus but Valerina's body turned into ashes.

"No!!!!!"

Serenity screamed when Valerina's ashes fell into her lap.

Augustus looked at ashes in shock. It was like a blown to his sanity.
