Valerina's POV

I danced in happiness while looking at my locket. It's hard to explain in words that how much I love this locket.

I don't remember my mother but this makes me feels like she is around me.

I didn't know that Augustus cares enough to find out this thing for me.

I was scared for his behaviour in the morning, the way he touched my body, it's enough to know what he wants.

And what's difficult to understand is, why he wants a normal human girl like me instead enjoying his life with someone like him.

I often thinks that he has hidden motive.

I can't deny the fact that he was nothing but good in last few days. He let me roam in the house, gave me beautiful kitchen, I have all my things and not to mention all those periods things.

I thought he won't listen but he actually brought colours for me to paint the walls of this room.
