Author's Pov

"Sebastian," His mother cooed entering his darkroom. He was laying on the bed with a heavy blanket all over him.

His mother approached him while looking around the place with discomfort, his room was messed up. It's been two days since his encounter with Bella and he hadn't attended the company, after drinking his senses out and destroying the bar room he locked himself in his room. His mother finally getting some courage decided to check on her short temper son. The room was completely dark, she scrunched her nose in disgust.

The hazardous smell of smoke occupied the whole space, his habit of smoking sometimes worries her especially when he doesn't care about his health. Her eyes steadily fell over his laid frame softening them right away, he hadn't eaten dinner last night. She turned the lamp on to get a good view of her son's messed face. Sebastian groaned in annoyance turning his face to look at his mother's concerned eyes, he felt a little bad for ignoring her worry from the last few days.

But he couldn't even blame himself, he was messed up, and his mind was filled with that vicious siren's taunts, and the encounter they had a few days ago left a huge impact on him. He wanted to forget her and the only refuge he found was to drink his ass off which he had been doing constantly for the last three days but it was of no use. She was still ruling over his senses.

"My life what's wrong? Why have you locked yourself in your room? " Serena inquired in a mumbled tone caressing his head.

Sebastian sighed shaking his head and closing his eyes wanting to sleep again, at least he was able to get rid of her thoughts in his slumber but the moment his mother woke him up, those alluring blue eyes again haunted him unwillingly. Why can't she just leave his mind? Just fucking why?

"Nothing mom I am fine." His mother sighed heavily hearing his hoarse restless voice.

" No, you're not, and I can see that. Tell me, darling, what's wrong, is there something you want?" She queried staring at him keenly, Sebastian always had a nature of being depressed if he couldn't get something he badly wants.

The last time he was this disturbed was when he couldn't get a sports car as he was a minor, but seeing him upset had always been his parent's biggest apprehension that's why his father used his power and bought him a sports car even though the next day he literally had an accident with it destroying the car completely, it was a fortune that he was left unharmed but still that incident didn't really stop them from fulfilling his every ethical or heinous wish.

"Nothing mom if I want something you know I can get it on my own now." She chuckled nodding with a proud smile plastered over her lips.

"Exactly my boy. Always get what you want, even if you have to snatch it from others. Because what's yours should stay as yours." Sebastian gave her a twisted grin nodding his head.

"Now get up, you're going to eat lunch with us. Come on." He frowned.

" Us? " His mother smiled walking towards the vast window, grasping the edges of the curtains she gave a hard jerk to them freeing the sunlight from the binds, he groaned closing his aching eyes for a few seconds.

"Yes. Maria is coming for lunch, you haven't met her after the party. She was worried about you, you aren't even answering her calls." She said grabbing his dirty clothes and throwing them in the basket.

Sebastian plainly rolled his eyes standing up from the bed, he flexed his muscular chest trying to get rid of the tiredness but he knew he was not going to be relaxed till he will see that fierce girl being scared of him. Then his mind went to that girl he met at the party, such a pity! She has everything which suits his world yet he craves someone that can never be his match.

"I don't want to meet that girl, mother." He replied with an annoyed face, his mother turned to face him sighing heavily.

"Sebastian if you kept on rejecting every single girl I choose, when will you get married then? You don't like any girl and if I choose someone for you, your answer still is the same. " She said raising her voice a little for him to understand how serious she was.

Sebastian looked at her before again that violent kitten's thoughts collided with his head the moment he pondered about his mother's words, liking a girl, getting irritated by his own thoughts he shook his head before facing his mother.

"You're already 26 and will be 27 in a few months I want you to get settled, your father finally retired from his business and it's your time to build a family now." She complained getting concerned by his continuous denial, Sebastian stared at her blankly before stubbornly shaking his head.

"Mom please just stop it. When I will like someone and want to marry her I will ask you but please let me be right now." Saying that he stormed inside the bathroom.

Serena rubbed her forehead at his stubborn behavior, she was tired of trying to get him like someone. It doesn't matter who he would like, he just has to say and that girl will be his. She wants him to settle down, and have a beautiful family of his but alas! This stubborn guy was just not ready to understand her.

Sebastian entered the vast bathroom and stood in front of the mirror to wash his face but suddenly the moment his eyes took his condition in check his eyes flickered in shock. His hair was a mess, his eyes swollen and his lips seemed unusually ruddy and dry, there were dark circles under his eyes. Closing his eyes he ruffled his hair cursing himself for being this disturbed by that wild siren.

She shouldn't affect him this much yet his peace, work, and even his health was being impacted badly by her vindictive thoughts, staring at his frame for a few seconds before he finally discarded his clothes and entered the warm shower but the moment he placed his hand over the wall latching his eyes for a mere second, she again decided to attack him with the sharp claws of her memories.

I am not scared of you, I will never be! You're nothing but filth to me.

His eyes snapped up as he clenched his jaw right away, those ocean-blue eyes were playing with his senses now, he hates how he couldn't get rid of her thoughts, how her thoughts were continuously playing with his brain. After getting ready in an elegant suit he walked out of his room wanting to get out of the house as soon as possible but someone blocked his way making him look down with his dark gaze.

He hates when someone blocks his way or interrupts his work.

"Sebastian, where are you going? I came here especially to meet you. That night--" Maria said looking at him with her beautiful green eyes, but before she could keep talking Sebastian leaned down to her level making her shut up the moment she witnessed his dark gaze fixated on her.

He looked murderous, his grey pupils had turned into a dark shade surrounding his eyeballs telling her how much he detested her actions, she gulped watching his lips curving into a lopsided smirk before he took a step closer to her making her flinch at the proximity. Wasn't he the same man she wanted to be close to so badly? Then why was she so scared of him?

"Listen and listen carefully, Maria." His deep dark tone made her blink her eyes in anxiety, he raised his calloused hand placing it under her slightly quivering chin gently caressing her jawline before throwing the words that didn't fail to stun her.

"I know the reason why are you dancing on my head, and if you think you can marry me by making my mother on your side then you're a highly mistaken woman!" He seethed tightening his grip over her chin.

Maria's eyes widened in shock realizing that she was caught by him in an instance, Maria's friend already warned her about how cunning and not easy to be fooled Sebastian Wayne is, and she was advised by many people to be cautious as Sebastian's parents never made a decision which is against him. She should have known better.

"You should have known your worth till now, you weren't even enough interesting to be my one-night fuck." He spat ruthlessly throwing her chin away and making her step back in fear, tears started welling in her eyes hearing such a disrespectful insult from him.

"Never try to double cross me lady, or you wouldn't be able to see sunlight the next day. Better get this in your thick head," He paused watching her dropping her watered gaze on the floor in dread.

"Or I Sebastian Wayne know very well how to make you understand." Threatening and scaring her successfully he chuckled like a satisfied psycho when her body started trembling lightly. Rolling his eyes at her shivering frame he walked past her having no compassion toward her.

His lips were forced to stay in a twisted smirk remembering her scared eyes, the fear in her eyes showed how badly she was afraid of him but suddenly his smirk started peeling off his lips when again those glaring blue orbs invaded his senses, her bitter rebellious words again bothered him. The way Maria started trembling only by his glare then why can't be she afraid of him?

Why is she so brave? Her courage is astonishing, he never thought any woman can even look into his eyes. Insulting him is far from his imagination, but she did. She did everything he never thought anyone was capable of doing. Gritting his teeth feeling uneasy by the fact that there was someone in this world who doesn't get intimidating by him.

He neared to his car only for the driver to open the door for him, getting annoyed by this protocol he looked at the driver who didn't raise his eyes at his boss. "Give me your gun," The driver didn't dare to question him and handed him the gun.

"Is it licensed?" The man nodded his head positively bringing a small smirk to Sebastian's lips as an evil plan started building in his head.

"Good, now don't dare to follow me. Stay here I will go myself." He commanded both the driver and his bodyguards who seemed reluctant to his order.

"Sir Mr. Wayne will ---" He held his hand up turning to the man who dared to open his mouth only to show his defiance at his order, he glared at the man who looked down.

"Who is your fucking boss?" He growled lowly walking near the anxious man, now he was regretting he should have just stayed shut.

" Y-You, sir." Sebastian grabbed his jaw making him look into his hawk-grey eyes.

"Then fucking treat me like one, I ordered you, and you will obey my orders. Understood! " The man nodded when Sebastian squeezed his jaw painfully, he threw his face away harshly stepping back. Glaring at the bodyguards he tightened his grip on the gun which scared the shit out of the men.

"Sir I am sorry for my words but we are here for your protection." The other bodyguard said making him roll his eyes. He chuckled sarcastically, Sebastian was a trained boxer, martial arts expert, and a professional in working with the gun, what the fuck do these idiots think of him?

"I never needed your protection, I kept on taking you with me because father said so, but now I am saying it for the last fucking time," He paused waiting for any of the men to open their mouths and try disobeying him which they didn't dare to as they knew well about the terrible consequences.

"I can protect myself, now fuck off." With that, he jumped in his car and drove away at a crazy speed making the bodyguards sigh in defeat, they can't disobey him or the psycho will end up killing them.

Sebastian clutched the gun in his hand before driving towards the place he knew he will find her, Sebastian's lips curved into a small smirk watching the girl who was messing up with his mind walking alone in an empty street, it was broad daylight knowing very well where she was walking too but he wouldn't let her get away this easily. He needed to sate his raging beast, he needed to see those enchanting eyes being coward back in fear. His fear.

He drove the car at a fast speed, Bella stepped back frowning when an unfamiliar car from nowhere blocked her way. His way of driving the car was crazy, for a second she thought he wanted to crush her under it. He didn't even care that he was pulling his car over the footpath. Grasping the gun he jumped out of the car before walking towards the frowning girl.

She stared at him with a deep scowl, now why he was here again?
