Robyn POV

I woke up early, and the trip to the prison felt like it took forever. The whole way there, anxiety gnawed at me. Sure, being on the bike brought that familiar sense of freedom, but it didn’t completely ease my worry about how my dad would react to everything.

When we finally stop outside, Big King waits for me. I’m excited to see my dad, no doubt about that. But the thought of telling him about me and Big King has my stomach in knots.

We walk inside, and I notice the guard nodding at Big King before gesturing for us to follow. As we move through the halls, it’s obvious this isn’t the usual protocol for visitors. I can’t help but wonder how much Big King must have paid the guards to make this happen.

The door opens, and I’m the first to walk in. My dad’s eyes widen when he sees me, and I rush to him, wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug. He holds me close, his grip firm and reassuring.

“God, Princess, don’t do anything stupid like that again, promise me!” he says, glar

Robyn POVAs soon as Doc pulls my dad away, I drop to my knees beside Big King, my heart racing. Blood trickles from his lip, and a bruise is already forming on his cheek, but when he looks up at me, he’s smiling.“I’m okay, Kitten,” he says softly, his voice steady despite the beating he’s just taken. He reaches up and gently strokes my face, his thumb brushing away a tear I didn’t even realise had fallen.Relief washes over me, but it’s mixed with a deep, gnawing guilt. I don’t know how to make this right, how to repair the hole that’s opened between the two men I care about most in this world.Big King slowly rises to his feet, still wincing from the pain, but he keeps his focus on me, offering me that same reassuring smile that’s become my anchor in all this chaos. My dad is still being held back by Doc, his chest heaving with the effort to catch his breath, his eyes burning with a mix of betrayal and hurt. For a moment, everything is still. The air is thick with tension, and all

Big King POVThe plan had been simmerin' in my mind for days—a secret escape from the chaos happenin' around us. After the tense visit with Joker, I knew we both needed a break—a way to breathe without the weight of the world pressin' down on our shoulders. This mornin', I decided it was time to make that plan a reality. I had a feeling she would recognise the place as soon as we arrived, but until then, I wanted to keep the anticipation alive.“So, where are we going?” Her voice was soft but playful, a hint of curiosity shinin' in her eyes as she looked up at me with that smile I could never resist. Without hesitation, I pulled her closer, relishin' in the warmth of her body against mine.“Ah, that’s a secret for now, Kitten,” I replied, givin' her a teasing wink. I couldn’t help but enjoy the mystery I was creatin'. “But trust me, you’re goin' to love it.” Steppin' back, I nodded toward our bikes parked nearby. “On your bike and follow me, please,” I added before turnin' to mount my

Big King I walk over to her, the gravel crunchin' beneath my boots, and gently turn off her bike. The emotions etched across her face say it all.“Nothin' has changed; we still use it, but we’ve changed nothin',” I say softly as I wrap my arms around her and lift her from the bike. She clings to me, her silence heavy with memories. Together, we walk into the cottage, the air thick with nostalgia and the ghosts of the past. Robyn POVI wake up nestled against Big King, the warmth of his body a comforting contrast to the chill in the room. Right now, at this moment, I’m happy. Sure, everything around us feels like it’s on the verge of collapse, but at least right now, in this little bubble of time, there’s something good. Something normal. My thoughts drift to my dad, and a flicker of hope sparks in my chest. If things go well, he could be getting out soon. I cling to that hope like a lifeline. He’s taking his medication, and as long as he keeps it up, there shouldn’t be any reason for things to go wrong. Just one more year to wait, and then he will be free. After so long, just the thought of having him back in my life fills me with a mix of excitement and anxiety.“You look pleased with yourself, Kitten,” Big King’s deep voice rumbles, pulling me from my thoughts. His words bring a smile to my lips.“How likely is he to get parole?” I ask, my voice tinged with both hope and worry. I need to hear somethin

Robyn POVI part my lips to respond, but he gently stops me with a look. “Just listen first,” he says, his voice deep and serious. “Do ya want things to stay as they are? Relaxed, fun, but exclusive to us? Or do ya want something more? Do ya want me to marry you? And what about where we live—are ya happy stayin' in the clubhouse, or would ya prefer a place of our own, away from the club? I need to know if ya truly okay with everythin'. I’ve got grown kids, a complicated past with an ex-wife who might still wish me dead, and another ex I still talk to. Can you handle all of that?”I chew my cheek, my mind swirling with thoughts. He waits patiently, his eyes never leaving mine, as if he’s reading every flicker of emotion across my face. “Big King,” I begin slowly, “I never really thought about marriage before because my dad was gone. I couldn’t imagine getting married without him there. It was just something I accepted wouldn’t happen, because I didn’t want to walk down the aisle withou

Big KingI didn't have a place in mind when I began walkin', and I just didn't want us to get lost in ourselves. If we stayed indoors, I know she would try and fuck me again, and then this entire mini break would be spent in bed.Which, I don't mind, except for back at the club. We don't get moments like this. Alone, the freedom to just leave and walk 'round. She's walkin' ahead of me and talkin' away. I'm listenin', but my eyes are more focused on her ass right now. The way it moves as she takes a step. How that movement changes, when she takes a larger step up the hill.I don't think I've ever been obsessed with anythin' other than bikes, and now, Robyn. I'll willingly admit I am obsessed with Robyn. She looks amazin'; groanin', I look away from her. Here I was sayin' we would go for a walk, so I stop us from fuckin', and all I do is watch her ass and imagine fuckin' her.Her slight chuckle tells me she knows I've been watchin' it. "How much further, Big King?" She turns and smirks.

I want to call her delusional but I know that won't go down well at all, so I decide to reassure her. "Her name is Kate, and she would visit clubs, ride bikes, and do other things. It wasn't serious, but she got pregnant. As soon as she did, she gave up on the clubs and left. She has a husband and everything."She relaxes slightly, and I smile. She has nothing to worry about. There's no way any other woman is going to come into this and push me out. Takin' out my phone, I message the guys and tell them I won't be back for a few days.I don't want to rush back; right now, I want to stay here and focus on her going forward. Caleb’s POVThe roar of the bikes fills the air as we pull up to the clubhouse. It’s been months since the twins were born, and life hasn’t slowed down for a second. I park my bike and glance over at King, who’s smirking like he’s already a step ahead of me. He probably is. He’s been in a good place lately—focused, lighter even. It’s strange to see after everything, but I can’t complain. He’s my brother, and for the first time in years, it feels like we’re truly in sync. The twins have turned our world upside down in the best way. Queenie’s been handling everything like a pro, balancing the chaos of our family with the chaos of club life. Baby Caleb is toddling around like he owns the place, and the twins, Ruby and Daisy, are always keeping us on our toes. Life is full, and though it’s overwhelming sometimes, it’s everything I didn’t know I wanted.I step off my bike and stretch. King does the same, then glances at me with a grin. “Ready for today?”“Yeah,” I reply, though my voice fe

Sittin' on the clubhouse steps with a cup of coffee in my hand, I let my thoughts drift. Life feels different now. Better, maybe. Calmer. Though “calm” isn’t exactly the word I’d use to describe this club or my family.I’ve been spendin' more time with Kian. It’s something I should’ve done years ago but never did. I was too wrapped up in myself, in the club, in provin' I was the best choice for Prez. Kian was always just the kid in the background. Now, I see him for who he is—a sharp, thoughtful kid with a wicked sense of humor. He’s not a biker, not in the traditional sense, but he’s found his place here. He’s good with numbers, helping with the financial side of things, and he’s got this way of readin' people that reminds me of his mom. He’s been givin' me shit lately, though. “Finally realized I exist, huh?” he joked a few weeks ago when I i

Queenie’s POVSix months. It feels like a lifetime ago and yet just yesterday that everything changed. Lying here waiting for the woman to do the scan, I watch King and Caleb as they stand together. The sight makes my heart swell in a way I never thought possible. They’re so in sync now, their bond stronger than it’s ever been, and it’s a relief to see the tension that once lingered between them completely gone.King laughs at something Caleb says, and it’s such a genuine, carefree sound that I find myself smiling too. I still can’t believe how far he’s come. The darkness that used to grip him so tightly seems to have loosened its hold. It’s not gone entirely—I doubt it ever will be—but it’s no longer the thing that defines him. He’s lighter now, freer, and seeing him like this makes me love him even more. We’ve been staying at the club more than the cabin these past few months, something I never thought I’d be okay with. When King first suggested splitting our time between here and t

She’s soft, all curves and fire, and I’m reminded just how good it feels to have her like this. Like she’s mine. My hands tighten on her waist, holding her still as she grinds against me, her body determined to undo whatever resolve I have left. “We’re going to be late for everything, you know that, right?”Her laugh is breathless, filled with mischief. “Worth it,” she says again, her voice low and teasing, and it’s all the encouragement I need.Flipping her onto her back, I pin her beneath me, my

Queenie POVI wake up wedged between Caleb and King, feeling the weight of yesterday pressing on my chest. My mind replays everything in vivid detail, questioning every moment. If I hadn’t fought, would Delcote have still searched me? Or was it all just a punishment for not complying? He left me with my phone, almost as if he wanted me to panic. Then there’s the question of whether kicking his seat and enraging him had been a smart move. Sure, it made him stop, and that gave them the chance to find me—but did I escalate things? My thoughts spiral until I glance over to Caleb Jr.’s crib and notice it’s empty. My heart skips a beat as I sit up in a panic.“Rose and Maz have 'im,” King mutters groggily beside me. His voice is thick with sleep, and he doesn’t even open his eyes. “He woke up around half six, wanted to play, so they took him.”Relief washes over me as I let out a long breath and flop back down beside him.“How are ya feeling?” he asks quietly, turning his head to look at me

Sliding the picture into my jacket pocket, I pull out my phone and shoot a quick message to Rose, askin' 'er to grab the portable crib and a bag of essentials from the cabin. “We’re stayin' at the club tonight,” I explain to Caleb and Queenie, who both nod in agreement. The ride back feels heavier, quieter, as if we’re all lost in our thoughts. I try King next, but it goes straight to voicemail. A frustrated sigh escapes me, and I glance up and down the street. No way am I waiting. I begin walking, deciding it will be quicker than waiting if they have totally forgotten me.The walk home feels longer than it should. My feet ache from a long shift, and the chill in the air creeps through my jacket. I forgot my purse at home this morning, so no money for a taxi or bus.
