I lifted my head, craning my neck to take in the breathtaking beauty of the mountain that stood imposingly behind the tall trees of the dense woods. The black of dusk had settled around us, casting an eerie yet enticing aura that enveloped everything in its path. As the last of the students disembarked the bus, I took a moment to savor the crisp mountain air and the serenity that surrounded us. Our group would be spending the next two days and three nights at a hotel nestled amidst the mountains, and I was eager to soak in every moment of this getaway.

My eyes scanned the trees, each with an unusual shape and size that was different from the ones I was used to seeing back in the city. Something about the leaves seemed off, and a sense of foreboding began to grow inside me. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was, but there was an unspoken danger lurking at the tips of each leaf, like a hidden menace waiting to pounce.

Just then, Travis tapped on my shoulder, and I jumped in surp

My first thought was that it must have been Athen who had touched my arm, but as I turned around, I was surprised to see Brent standing there."What am I doing?" Brent repeated my words with a sly grin on his face. "Just trying to get your attention, my dear."I tried to pull away from him again, but his grip was too tight. I felt a wave of panic w

The air was crisp and a faint aroma of pine needles could be detected in the cool breeze that gently brushed against our faces. The host of the game, a man with a rugged beard and a commanding presence, stood in front of us, his eyes scanning the crowd before he began to speak."Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the orienteering scavenger hunt!" His voice boomed, filling the silence. "This isn't your typical scavenger hunt where you just have to search for items. Oh no! This game requires some skills, strategy, and navigation through the woods. Each team will be given a map and compass to guide them to specific items scattered throughout the forest. The team with the most items gathered within the time limit wins!"The students murmured with excitement as the host explained the rules, their eyes darting around the woods, searching for poss

As we strolled through the dense woods, the moonlight filtered through the leaves, casting a dim light on the path before us. The girl from our team looked confused, her brow furrowed in deep thought. "Did anyone get what this means?" she asked, her voice carrying a hint of bewilderment.A boy turned towards her, his face twisted into a sneer. "C'mon, don't prove yourself a fool," he said sarcastically. It was clear from his expression that he had understood the cryptic message, and so had the rest of us.The words on the note weren't particularly challenging to decipher, even for eight brains working in unison. "I can make the bull high..." it read. There were only a few things that could elicit such a reaction from a bull, and we all knew what they were. The first possibility was a female bull, known for their ability to drive male bulls into a frenzy with their pheromones. These powerful emotions could easily cause a bull to lose control and become dangerous to anyone in its path.
