"Wait, Athen?" She jogged after me calling my name loudly, as I walked out of the cafeteria and headed towards the park. I wanted to clear my head and the thoughts troubling me. The scene that guy had created in front of the whole college shattered my heart completely. Just because of him, I had to bear embarrassment in front of a crowd getting free entertainment from the free show put forward by us. How daringly the guy showed up claiming her as his girlfriend and grabbed her by the arm. My ego was crushed and although I had beaten him enough to cool down the lava burning inside me.

But still, a fire was burning inside me, a feeling of betrayal was punching my fave harder than I thrust on his face. If she was already in a relationship with some other guy then she should have informed me about her affairs than hiding them from me.

Walking away carrying the burden of my broken trust in my arms I reached the boundaries of the park adjacent to our college.

Ayra povI prowled towards the cafeteria after walking out of the awkward situation Brent had put me in by proposing to me instead of Jeri to be his mate. As I made my way through the narrow lane lined with trees leading to the refreshment room unable to shake off the feeling of unease in my mind. Jeri's hocked-stricken face was flashing in front of my eyes as if I had done something wrong. Despite knowing that I was innocent, a pang of guilt was striking against my conscience. I hoped that she would understand too that I was not interested in him. It was dark inside. Seemed like the cafeteria had been closed. But before I could turn away. Something stopped me and I found myself stepping inside. The interior of the room was shrouded in absolute darkness suggesting that the cafeteria had been closed. Following my thought, I struck my wrist in front of my eyes to see the time. It had been late for the cafeteria to remain open. I firmly closed my lips thoughtfully as the idea of rever

"Someone else!" He asked confusedly as if I had said something wrong."Yeah. You must be considering other girls as well! No?" I said, shrugging my shoulders. Judging from his expressions, I had assumed that he was not considering any other girl than me. I didn't know what to do or how to react to this. In my heart, I was happy that he gave me so much value. But on the contrary, I was a bit sad too, after knowing that he was not considering Jeri at all. A wave of disappointment swept on my face and I hesitantly bit on my lower lip. Confronting the man knowing he had developed feelings for me was making me a bit uncomfortable."Well. I haven't thought about anyone yet." His shoulder rose as he tucked his hands into the pocket of his jeans."Oh. That implies you're planning to miss out on the big night of the year too." I forced a smile, attempting to lighten up the mood and lessen the tensions that had developed between us ever since he proposed to me in front of Jeri."Certainly not.

The door banged open as a knee-high middle-aged lady with a golden blonde wig framing her oval-shaped face, and a twig tingling against the mole below her lower lip smeared in orange lip tint supported her figure through the door of my room.Propelling her old-fashioned vanity box against the floor, she tucked her hands on the side of her waist."Why the heck you summoned me in such a hurry?" She frowned her forehead while squinting at me from above her thin-rimmed round specs occupying a large portion of her face."Oh, I'm so happy to see you here." I rushed forward upon seeing her and wrapped her petite figure in my arms. A sigh of relief was being blown above her shoulder, as I dug my chin into the crook of her neck. She eased her hands on my back, and it seemed like her anger melted away immediately. I was meeting her after a long time. Since I left my kingdom, I have never been in touch with my people. "Now will you mind explaining to me what the hurry was for?" She asked, the

And I thought we would be doing it together." I simply said."Haha…" her squeaky laugh resonated, "we would." "I'm free after doing the dishes." I told her. "In case you want to come right now." As I invited her, a strange fear crawled up on me. As if I was not supposed to say this. "Ummm…" she mumbled, "I have a friend seeing me tonight. Maybe tomorrow morning or evening. I'll inform you." She giggled.I shuffled my head underneath her gray woolen sweater and snickered up through her midriff, her warmness melted the ice of my cheeks. Gently, with my teeth clenching around the elastic band of her bra, I pulled it up and freed her boobs caged inside the wired fence. The softness of her breast eased against my cheekbones, as I mulled my face up. It felt like I was roaming in a heated room amidst the coldest night of the year, meanwhile, her hands slipped inside my shirt and were fondling my back.
