Nathaniel was extremely annoyed. He couldn't figure out why Nikita would give him the cold shoulder even though he had saved her.

A call from Nathaniel had Dave heading to the bar to have some drinks together. Dave assumed that it was a gathering for friends, but when he arrived, he realized that he was the only one there.

He had just taken his seat when he noticed the bandages on Nathaniel's arm. He asked in concern, "How did you get hurt?"

Dave was the only relatively sensible person in Nathaniel's friend group, whom Nathaniel could have a sincere talk with at crucial moments. Nathaniel didn't withhold anything from Dave as he recounted how he suffered an injury for Nikita's sake.

Dave was amused when he heard the whole story. "So you tried to save the maiden in distress, but in the end, you still couldn't win the maiden's heart."

Nathaniel downed the glass of wine in his hand. Glancing at Dave, he said, "If you're just here to make fun of me, you can leave now."
