Bianca went back inside the Café. She tried to convince the men outside to come with her, but they all refused. They all had to go to the same place and would travel together.

As soon as she raised her head, Mat was standing in front of her, arms crossed on his chest.

« Bianca, seriously… I told you not to go outside. »

« I Was not outside. I was standing on the porch…. »

« Bianca, you are making it difficult for me to protect you. »

« Mat, you make it difficult for me to want to listen to you when you never tell me things. »

A warm wind came inside the café, and Mat's frown disappeared. He released his arms and went behind his bar. He made a head sign to Bianca to encourage her to follow him. He started to make her a coffee, but she stopped him.

« Are you going to poison me as soon as the truth is revealed? »

He started to laugh, and she followed him, their giggles echoing in the place.

« No, beautiful. I would not try to start a war by acting foolishly. Sit d

The night was finally here. Alpha Black was standing tall in front of the porch of the Crossroads Café. Alo was there too. He was sitting on an old rocking chair, smoking a cigarette. The older man smiled at the man waiting to meet half of his soul. He rose from his seat and showed the Alpha a necklace made with feathers and stones. « A crazy night again. Spirits are rejoicing and glowing, Alpha Black. » « What is that ? » the low voice said, similar to a growl. « This will allow your wolf to go inside the café. » Old Al answered. Alpha Black stared blankly at the jewelry. His wolf was gigantic, and he worried that his massive form would scare his mate all day long. That was not how he was supposed to present his wolf to her for the first time, but he knew he was the one who broke a rule first, and he had to accept the consequences. He could hear the whimpers of his beast in his head. « This thing will never be able

_Why did Mate stop moving ?_ « I don't know… » answered Alpha Black to his beast. _ Do something !_ Little whimpers started to rise in his head. « What do you want me to do, buddy? » Black tried to calm him. _Mate is leaving! Follow Mate! Stick to Mate !_ « It's ok. Look, she is not leaving us. She just went behind the bar. Chill. » They followed her and sat on their hind legs as Bianca talked aloud to herself. « _ Qu'est-ce que Je dois faire ? C'est de la folie ! » (What should I do ? This is crazy !*) she said, switching unconsciously to french. She opened the fridge and took the milk bottle. She grabbed a glass but stopped. She then proceeded to take a bowl and stopped again. « Je n’ai même pas la certitude que ce soit un loup ou que ces histoires de loups garous soient vraies ! » (I am not even sure that it is a wolf or if these werewolves' stories are true! » She turned on her heels and faced the unidentified cre

Bianca woke up. Her eyes were instantly searching for Mister Wolf. She could not remember when she fell asleep or when the black wolf left the Café. She stood up, surprised to see herself covered by a thick blanket. « Was everything only a dream? » She thought. She folded the blanket and checked the hour on the massive wooden clock on the wall. As soon as her eyes could see the numbers, the back door opened on Mat. «Morning, beautiful Bianca ! »he said with a charming smile. He maintained the door open with his back, letting his sister Aiyana enter with Rosy between her arms. « Good morning! Oh la la, thank you, Aiyana ! I did not even realize I fell asleep on the couch yesterday night! » Bianca said while grabbing Rosy and showering her with kisses. « No worries, Bianca. I… tried to bring her back yesterday, but Crossroads Café forbade me to enter… » Aiyana said with caution. Bianca raised her head and put a hand on Rosy's back. « Magic? » She asked. « Mag

"A what?" asked Bianca, half choking up. She had taken a sip of coffee just as Mat had revealed the identity of his longtime friend. " Un vampire, ma délicieuse Bianca. (*A vampire, my delicious Bianca" Augustin replied seductively. Then he patted her back to help her regain normal breathing and placed a kiss on her cheek when she finally calmed down. Bianca had a start but remained close to him. "So he doesn't scare you more than that?" Aiyana asked, incomprehension visible on her face. "Euh non" Bianca replied. She scratched her cheek. She had the strange impression of having sinned by letting him kiss her, and looked at this man she had known for so many years. "Augustin is not the kind of person who enjoys terrorizing others or sucking their blood..." The vampire placed a hand over his eyes and laughed softly. He gracefully took a seat on one of the bar chairs between Bianca and Aiyana and tapped the counter. "A drink, my good man!" he said to Ma

Bianca crossed her arms over her chest and kept silent for a few moments, staring at Augustin. "Quoi? (*What?), "asked the vampire at a loss. "Augustin, I think you forget why Emmanuelle, Rosy, and I came to America. "she replied calmly. "I'm grateful for the help you're offering, but I'm not moving from here until I know where Emmanuelle is." The vampire walked gracefully toward Bianca. He ran a hand through his hair and leaned forward to look at her. "I at least want you and Rosy to stay close to me while we wait." Mat cleared his throat loudly, causing the vampire to pivot on his heels again. "What is it, tavern keeper?" Mat scratched the back of his head, not sure where to look. Augustin's eyes had again gone entirely black, angry at being interrupted. "You're going to have a problem with that, Elder." Augustine straightened up, and his eyes returned to their enchanting appearance. "A problem?" "Bianca needs to stay here," explained Mat. "Here?

Bianca turned her head towards her friend and turned her palms up to silently ask him what was wrong. "Luna? Did I hear you right?" the vampire chuckled through his teeth. He was shaking now, trying to regain his composure, almost struggling to keep the blackness from taking over his eyes as Bianca watched him. Beta Duncan ignored him completely, then tilted his head slightly toward Bianca before pivoting on his heels and heading for the exit. "Wait, one second," the young woman asked calmly. The Beta stopped immediately under the order that had just been given to him. He had never ceased to be amazed at how quickly his wolf had submitted and wanted to please his Luna. _That's our Luna_ declared the animal in the Beta's head with wonder. "Yes." I am so happy. Alpha will finally find peace. "I don't care if he finds peace. All I want is never to go through the river episode again. » _Brrrrr, you're right. But let's learn from it and take baths re

Bianca had entrusted Rosy to Augustin’s care. She was always amazed at the affection the little girl had for him. Rosy had jumped into his arms when he asked her to. Bianca softly laughed as she saw the child’s happy expression when Augustin came out of the Crossroad Café to walk her around while waiting for the babysitter to arrive. On the other hand, Mat had walked Aiyana home under the ssnarky orders of the vampire. * * * The door opened slowly, letting in two sublime women. Both, a blonde and a brunette, were dressed entirely in black leather and lace and wore thick black glasses. The brunette had pale skin and wore a tight French twist updo. The blonde had ebony black skin contrasted with her long platinum blonde braid. “Welcome to the Crossroad Café! My name is Bianca, and I’m your waitress for today!” the young woman announced cheerfully. The brunette approached with a confident step, slowly removing the gloves that covered her hands. Then, she lowered her sunglasses

Bianca was scrubbing a corner of the bar, taking advantage of a moment of calm so she could get as much work done as possible. Augustin called her to say that he'll bring Rosy later. As soon as the sun had started to set, the customers rushed to the exit. She wiped her forehead carelessly to clear a lock of hair that fell over her eyes. The day had been entirely chaotic. Between the arrival of the two high priestesses and the many groups of travelers, she had not had a minute to herself. All went to the same place: the ceremony of Luna. She wondered how it went and if some guests would tell what happened there during the festivities. All she could hear was that The Mad One did not come yet. The door of the Café opened slowly to let in the impressive black wolf. _Mate's legs! Ah-Whooooo..._ "Stop howling!" _ But look! Mate showed off her legs today! It was at this moment that the doors of the Crossroad Café opened to let the other Alphas in. The men were impressively large and radiated a strength typical of Alphas. They all bowed slightly to the Mad One and looked disgusted when they saw Augustine. "We demand to see the hybrid, and we demand punishment for the parents who dared to give birth to him," one of them said firmly. Bianca immediately turned her head toward the new group of wolves, her eyes like silver orbs. She raised her finger to them, showing them her wolf's fangs: "Sit down and be quiet, you morons." Magnus smirked. Bianca had just called them "morons," and now he knew the deep contempt she felt for all of them. They all stood up straight. They started walking like disjointed puppets and took their places on a chair around the big table. The Alphas looked at each other in terror, realizing their wolves would not allow them to disobey the order

Bianca gave him a beaming smile and snickered. "What do you think, Ari?" "Who's Elle?" snarled Magnus, displeased to the core that the cub would dare call his Luna so familiarly and worse: they had acquaintances in common that he had no idea about. Off to the side, Augustine straightened up and shot an accusing look at Alo. "Old man, leader of the Wind Tribe, what does this mean?" Old Al raised his hands as a sign of peace, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "That's the primary function of the Crossroad Café, to provide a refuge to rest." Harry jumped on his legs, stumbling and losing his balance as he tried to walk to the stairs. However, when he reached Bianca's level, she grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him back, preventing him from moving forward. "Hell no, dumb Ari!" she declared curtly. Everyone present was surprised to see the anger on Bianca's face. She was furious with him and p

Harry found himself on all fours on the ground, crushed by a monstrous force that forced him to submit. He tried to raise his head, but it was as if an invisible, monstrous hand was pressing against his neck. He barely managed to raise his eyes and met the incandescent gaze of the Mad One. In his mind, he could hear the heartbreaking cries of his wolf. The animal part of him bowed to the ground before a colossal black presence. Bianca started to take a step toward the Red Moon Alpha, but Black lifted her with one arm to rest her against his hip. With each additional step Magnus took, Harry felt more and more crushed to the ground. His breathing became labored, and he felt like his lungs and heart were being squeezed by an invisible force. Alpha Black looked down at him, his usual cold, the impassive expression on his face. However, no one could ignore the dull rage emanating from him. He placed a kiss against the temple of his Lu

As everyone waited for the bacon to cook, the door to the Café opened to reveal Connor, the Red Moon Beta. He bowed respectfully to Alpha Black but couldn't help but grimace in disgust when he saw the Vampire. Black, as usual, ignored him completely. His attention was focused on the upper floor of the café. He didn't understand what was happening but could feel Bianca's euphoria through their soulmate bond. Maska was trying to communicate with Mitexi. However, the she-wolf and the human had created high barriers around their minds. "Many moons since I've seen you, Alpha Harry," Old Al' greeted warmly, recognizing the imposing redhead who had just entered. The Alpha moved closer to them and watched wordlessly as the men gathered around the little girl. He'd been living in seclusion for many moons, and being around many people today made him and his wolf extremely uncomfortable. He'd surprised Connor this morning by telling him he'd be coming to the meeting

"Is it the prospect of meeting the other pack leaders that scares you, Love?" he asked his Luna. Bianca nodded and nervously scratched her thumbnail with the ring and middle fingers of the same hand. "You can talk to me, Love. There's no harm in expressing your fears out loud. It is our honor, Maska and I, to be here to listen to you and reassure you," he continued. "I won't say that you have nothing to fear, but know that I will be by your side throughout the meeting. As much as it disgusts me to have to tell you, the leech... Maska grabbed her by the hips, "What are you doing, Mate?" The silver-eyed she-wolf gave him a defiant smile and pushed him backward. "Sit down. Don't move," she ordered him. Bianca had squealed with excitement and was covering her eyes as she hopped up and down on her legs. "Oh yeah! Show him who's boss, Mitexi!" Maska took on a puppy dog look, his bottom lip trembling slightly. "Mate didn't like it when I licked her. Mate is not satisfied." Mitexi laughed, nodding her head no. Black began to kiss Bianca's lips gently. He placed small kisses, pressing more insistently at times and pulling his head back as soon as she sought to deepen the kiss he gave her. Bianca wrinkled her nose and tilted her head to the side. "If you're done, I'm going back to Jane. I couldn't finish my conversation with her the other day." Black merely looked at her, his face perfectly inexpressive. Then he lifted Bianca to come and lay her down against the desk. The young woman suggestively raised her eyebrows and swallowed a small cry when the Alpha spread her legs to come and place himself between them. Black began to stroke the young woman's neck with the bridge of his nose. He began to growl, his voice mixed with Maska's: "Why is my Luna wearing pants today? Mate knows she has to wear a dress in the pack house. Mate must easily remain accessible to us." Bianca gave him a beaming smile and shook her hand

  • Crossroads Café   87 : official requests

"What does this mean, Duncan?" asked Black, throwing a stack of papers in his Beta's face. Duncan had remained perfectly impassive, too used to his Alpha's mood swings. His only regret today was that he hadn't asked his Luna to join them in the office. "Exactly what the papers say, Alpha Black. The packs are asking to see the hybrid Rosy," the Beta replied calmly, bowing his head. Duncan swallowed hard. His Alpha's lethal energy was growing at a phenomenal rate, and he felt his organs being completely crushed. "Why?" the Alpha grunted as he backed up against his leather chair. "Why what, Alpha?" said Duncan. "Why do they want to meet her? What's in it for them? What need do they have to see a girl's face? Are they challenging me, Duncan? Can't you see how many possibilities lie beneath these seemingly candid requests?" The Alpha's eyes flickered red, showing the wolf's surface presence. _We have given an
