A week had passed since I saw Dawn—since I got to be with her. I left the same way I had come in, through the window. I had to keep things on a low between us if I didn't want the others to find out. CONTINUATION…I heaved painfully with a croaked grunt as I killed the last one in the higher court. I had used the same move Jereum had used to get behind me to kill the second wolf.
