Chapter 7: Blooming Flowers

Two hearts: one heart fully knew what he wanted, his feelings, and the object of his desire while the other heart mistook the other party’s advances as evil seduction, bewitching him with flawless tactics.

For the Salvians family, meeting four times a year was always a must; all the family members should follow. Whatever emergency or important plans they have, everything should be canceled, or rather it should not be planned at all in the first place.

It was a tradition that should be respected.

It was a fine sunny morning; gentle winds blew outside and the little leaves on the trees sway along with it. Seth woke up at six in the morning to prepare to meet his alpha, Cade Salvians. He made himself a simple breakfast of coffee and toasted bread to leave space for the early morning meeting with Cade.

With what the secretary conveyed, they were meant to meet at eight in the morning sharp, not a minute late and so he was trying his best not to make his venerable alpha wait for even a second more.

Wearing his white slacks that evidently follow the shape of his peach-shaped butt and a coral pink long sleeve, he entered the restaurant near Cade’s condo. As if the restaurant was graced with royalty, all eyes were set on this beautiful man walking with confidence and a smile on his lips. 

At the table at the corner, was a man in his coral pink tuxedo, his eyebrow raising and his right hand on his chin. His eyes fixed on the color of Seth’s clothes. There was no denying it, they wore the same-colored clothes as if they talk about it beforehand.

"Did you miss me, Mr. Salvians?"

Seeing Cade’s clothes, Seth smiled in his heart while Cade showed no expression on his face.

"I feel like dying not seeing you..." it was at this line that he flashed a smile on his face. He stood up and pulled a chair for Seth to sit down. A gentleman's gesture that will make any omega’s heart beat faster.

Seth looked shocked by the unexpected response but before he could indulge himself with this fantasy, the man that's been standing behind his back leaned near his ear and said, "Is that what you want to hear?" followed by a snicker.

D-mn it! He almost got me there.

"Nah... I know you're hard to get. Let's order some food I'm hungry," he playfully responded, giving Cade a beaming smile.

Seeing that the other party was so happy, he had the urge to end the meeting to amuse himself with the anticipated clingy reaction. "I need to leave immediately, so here is the signed contract. Nothing was changed, it will still follow your conditions. If nothing else, then I will take my leave."

Seth quickly checked it and with the documents, both have their signatures he said, “Thank you, Mr. Salvians.” Push his chair gently and stood up, ready to leave.

The anticipated ‘clingy reaction’ did not happen.

"Seth!"

Attention caught by the voice; Cade looked for the man who called out Seth's name. His eyes landed on a young man running towards their table. Fresh, young and smiling. An alpha? 

Cade crossed his legs as he watched the two converse enthusiastically. He crossed his arms as he looked at the young man from head to toe and toe to head. Sizing him up in the open not even pretending to hide it.

"Susu! When did you arrive?" Seth turned his back eagerly and gave Susu a warm hug. Susu was two inches taller than Seth when they embraced it looks like Seth was comfortably cuddled by his alpha friend.

"Yesterday. Dang! you look more dazzling now."

Cade snorted hearing this remark. The sound of someone disagreeing, the sound of someone annoyed. Dazzling?! You don't even know how to assess beauty.

"We should catch up. Are you free today?" said Seth not minding Cade in the corner. However, a faint smell pass through his nose; an apple-scented aroma, the scent contains grievances. Apple, a very familiar scent...

"You still have a meeting with me Mr. Lacklored, don't tell me you left professionalism at home?" He then stood up and fixed his tuxedo and slowly walk towards the door to leave the place.

"Let's go. We still have one place to visit."

Seth smirked in secret then responded, "I think the meeting is done before my friend arrived. So, have a good day, Mr. Salvians."

Seth continued chatting with Susu while the scent keeps getting stronger. The reason for the spreading of scent was still standing at the door with his back facing the two. Seth could not see his expression at all. Though the scent was faint it was a close place and Cade’s pheromone slowly occupy the whole space.

"Mr. Lacklored, if you will not come with me then forget the contract. I'll pay the damage." He was annoyed that Seth did not even try to make him stay, he expected him to cling. All omega’s cling to him, wishing and praying for him to spare them a glance. Though, he despises such an act but just thinking that his rival begs him made his competitive side erupt in excitement.

"Then, stop emitting your pheromones Mr. Salvians. You don't want to create trouble in a public place, right?" after he said that he peeks at his surroundings and everyone was calm. No hint of being affected.

Fortunately, Cade did not mind the people around him and answered him casually, "I’m approaching my rut Mr. Lacklored, I can't control it. After all, I am a dominant alpha."

"I believe you..." Seth turned to Susu and bid goodbye, "Susu, I will call you, okay? bye-bye." He can call his friend anytime but not his alpha. Some things needed to be sacrificed. He waves goodbye to Susu and followed the alpha outside.

Susu was left standing and speechless.

"You better take care of that coming rut Mr. Salvians; rut is one hell of a mess if you don't have a partner." Seth walks past him as he spoke the lines, smiling when the Alpha wasn't looking. "So, where are we going?"

His Alpha, his one and only Alpha was a reach away but he couldn't grab him. There was this invisible wall between them that Seth felt he needed to destroy, drill little by little. Smashed slowly and gently to avoid greater damage.

Making a reckless move will only decrease his chance of getting him to enter into his life permanently. 

Let's slow down... if things get a little better then I'll do full-blown flirting. 

Cade did not respond, instead, he looks him straight in the eye for three seconds and walks directly to the matt black car, "Hop in. Let us use my car for now."

Seth happily hopped in.

It will take an hour to arrive at their destination and the road was a little quiet. While Cade was reading some documents on his iPad, Seth was itching to talk. It was so boring that he could sleep while snoring loudly.

"Ehem." clearing his throat to try starting a conversation. "Hey! you didn't answer me, where are we going?"

Cade continued checking the documents and after an incense time he answered, "... to Salvians Family Villa."

"What?!"
