Shopping for Paris

Camille's POV

“Ah, shopping,” I sighed as we walked into the grand mall. “How I have missed you!”

“We haven't done this in forever,” Megan groaned behind me. “I used to hate coming here with you,but now I actually miss it.”

“Oh please,” I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “You enjoyed coming here with me. Don't deny it.”

“Maybe,” she said cheekily, weaving her arm with mine.

“So, what's the occasion? Your dad finally gave you your credit cards?”

I scoffed, pressing my lips into an angry line. “I wish. I thought he would calm down soon when he first decided to seize all my cards. But considering it's been about three months now, I doubt I'm ever getting them back.”

“He must have been really pissed with you,” Megan mumbled.

I tried to shrug off her words, but they stung. My father really had been angry. In all my years, I had never seen him as angry as when he had come to bail me at the police station after I had hit that girl with my car.
