Camille's POV
I waited as Gavriel ran his eyes down my body, mostly ogling my tits. I had known they were his weaknesses.
"Of course I do, get over here,"
Grinning, I made my way over to him and in flash found myself bent over the desk. Jordan had called asking for his money as usual.
His money. I wish I could break that bastard's head. I owed him nothing. But if I didn't play my cards right, I would end up with public disgrace and that would break Dad's heart terribly. I hadn't caused any scandals recently and I would love to keep it that way.
Technically though, this was his fault. If he hadn't seized my pocket money, I would have been able to pay Jordan his stupid meager amount and breathe easy. As long as he got enough cash to gamble with and buy his stupid drugs, he would be fine.
Could
Camille's POVThe elevator pinged and Gav walked out stopping in his tracks when he saw me by my desk. He had a bouquet of flowers, another breed of roses and wait was that a box of chocolate or jewelry?"Camille?""There's no need to look so shocked," I mumbled, burying my face in the schedule I was drafting on my system."I'm not shocked," He guffawed, striding towards me. In a blink he stood before my desk. "I doubt I've ever seen you this early at the office before.""I come early," I grumbled, flashing him a quick smile and looking away."Wait,"Oh no. I had tried to act normal so he wouldn't notice. It was exactly why I had come so early. I knew Gav. He welcomed me with kisses or a raging boner every single time I arrived at work. If he had come earlier than I did, then h
Camille's POV"Just breathe in, Camille, okay?" Megan soothed. "Do you want to meet up?*That sounded like a good idea. I nodded, realized she couldn't see me then mumured a "Yeah, after work. ""Good, I'll see you."The call ended with a beep. The office grew quiet. A little too quiet. All I could think about was how I had snapped at Gav. And frankly, he deserved it. He was getting on my nerves. With all the questions and probing, I couldn't just take them anymore. He had to know that. The day went by in a breeze. I barely saw Gav except during a meeting and wow, he was quite the petty one. He did not speak a word to me all through. Just emailed his instructions and disappeared to God knows where.I met up with Megan at one of our favorite cafes."So spill. What happened?" She asked as so
Gavriel's POV"Thank you very much for your time, Mr Donovan. It has been a great pleasure doing this interview with you." The pink haired journalist beamed his gums up at me.I tipped my head in a nod and watched him walk out of my office.Good riddance. It wasn't that I hated journalists. Perhaps I did a little. They got on my nerves. They tended to exaggerate every single detail just so people paid attention to them. But that didn't mean I did not know just how useful they would be. My publicist had begged for this interview to be held and it seemed just fine since he had been very good at his job.The door opened and Camille poked her lovely head through."Hey," she drawled."You're still here?"It was late. Way to
Camille's POVMy chest heaved as I struggled to breathe evenly. That was wonderful. His hand in my hair holding me in place while he fucked my mouth. I licked my lips, eyeing the delicious cock that was mere centimeters away from my mouth. Precum rolled down in buckets.I reached my tongue out to catch a drop and Gav cursed, rolling the windows up."What did he want?" I murmured, lapping up his juices."The traffic eased up. We're blocking the road," he hissed. "Fuck I can't drive if you keep doing that Camille."I pulled away, cupping my tits. "But I need you. I'm so wet, Gav.""We'll have to find a way to fix that, yes?" He murmured, driving down the road.He drove for a while before finding a secluded corner and parked there. His
Camille's POV"Miss-""No, I won't be taking that jerk's car," I shunned Dane, my driver and walked out of the building. I would rather walk. What right did he have to sulk? I would handle it. Jordan was just being crazy. I'd find a few wads of cash, hand it over to him and he would forget all about the ten million. And be back in two weeks, my mind taunted. I scoffed , marching down the street, trying to clear my head. I would call a cab sometime soon, but first, first I needed to stop feeling so damned guilty. If Gav hadn't pushed I wouldn't have yelled at him.But he was only trying to help.I had seen the concern on his face and yet I had acted like a total bitch to him."And now I'm mad because he's acting like a total bitch to me too
Gavriel's POV"While the silk produced doesn't need any reinforcements, we are yet to..."No calls. The device's blank screen glared up at me and I glared right back. I pocketed the device and tried to focus on the new silk thread my research team had worked on.Key word, tried. No texts. Camille hadn't responded to any of the malls or texts. Why I had even bothered in the first place was beyond me.If anything, she was the one who ought to apologize for her silly behavior. I tried to give her a break. I tried to focus more on the fact that she was younger and half the time I may not understand why she was hiding things from me.I knew she wasn't cheating. Camille wasn't that type of girl. I had also run a background check on this Jordan jackass and he was her ex boyfriend. Ex. How she had da
Gavriel's POVI dialed Caldwell's number immediately."I saw it. You're not paying a dime.""What the hell am I supposed to do? I can't let him hurt Camille," he sounded stricken.Ten million dollars. Was that why Camille had looked so sad? Someone was blackmailing her. Possibly that Jordan. It made sense why she felt afraid and had lashed out at me instead. And what had I done?I had iced her out. Fuck. I grabbed a handful of my hair, trying to quell the agitation that had my blood boiling. She hadn't called or texted because she hadn't been able to. How could she have when some bastard had tied her up to a chair- how long had she been that way?"We'll track him down," I hissed, striding into my office.
Camille's POVI watched a rat scratch against some glass bottle, trying to get a peanut out of it. The poor thing kept scratching, but that was all he could do.In a way, I was like that poor thing. I had been wiggling like an earthworm trying to shimmy my way out of these stupid bounds.Too bad that only worked in James Bond movies. My arms were sore from fighting the ropes, and considering I hadn't eaten anything since Jordan dragged me down to this damned place, I was pretty spent."Well, hello," Jordan opened the door. His annoying voice echoed in the warehouse and scared the rat away from his beloved peanut. "How's my darling doing today?""Better now that you're here,"If he heard the sarcasm in my voice, he ignored it, skipping towards me like he had hit the jackpot.
