He carried me out of the car and I was still on his shoulder. My head began to hurt from being upside down for so long.

I continued to beat his back but he didn't flinch. He carried me inside the house and slammed the door shut. The loud bang rattled my ears and I closed my eyes briefly to stifle the headache that was almost caused by the racket.

Finally, it stopped and I could open my eyes.

I looked around. No one came to my aid. Not even his obnoxious sister came running downstairs to yell at me.
