She immediately hugged Linda.
“I’m so sorry, Linda. I cannot lose you” and she cried out all her worries.
“I know you’re scared. I am too”
“But when I found out I’m pregnant, I knew my life is not mine anymore”
“And I’m willing to take the pain if that means I could deliver this baby into the world” she lovingly wiped Celine’s tears.
“Love, can you call the doctor? Let’s see if we’re having a boy or a girl” Linda called out to Brendan.
When the doctor came back, he showed the print-out of the scan.
“Congratulations! You’re having a boy”
Brendan and Linda were ecstatic.
Celine knew, Linda would give up everything for that child.
