Chapter 75. Fire control.

POV. Isabella Di’Giotanno.

“Your nose is bleeding, my queen,” Sonya says, alarmed by what she is seeing. I go blank, wondering why I’m bleeding, when I feel Alec is almost on top of me with a tissue wiping my nose.

“We must stop training, Sonya. He’s trying too hard. If you continue like this, you may become cognitively lost. That’s something I’m not willing to find out.”

“Me neither.” Then Eric turns his attention to me, saying, “Babe, you need to rest. It’s been a lot for today. You just learned how to handle two elements on the same day. It takes most mortals years to learn and perfect.”

They both talk to me, absolutely worried about me. I perceive many emotions at the same time through the bond. I smile faintly at them so I can assuage their concern, but to no avail. I’m just as worried as they are. I nod silently and they take me to our room so I can rest.

“I will call the royal pack doctor to run some tests and examine you.” A worried Alec speaks while Eric nods silently.
