Chapter 4

"Hi wifey, nice to…to see you." Felix says, feigning ignorance and I wondered if he didn't want his brother to know that we were once a thing which irritated the hell out of me.

I felt pure rage course through me, I hated every damn person in this family at once and all the admiration for his drop dead gorgeous Brother of his was replaced with a feeling of seeing a devil.

There won't be any difference if his younger brother could render my life useless.

I stood staring at Felix, whose hands were still in the air and tears filled my eyes instead.

How I had loved Felix? It hurts, it's so heart ripping and now I'm going to be tied to him forever?

God forbid!!

"Hi darlings, is that Lilia?" A sweet voice echoed and a beautiful woman dressed in a milky color gown, with gold stones stride in flashing me a beautiful smile that almost warmed my heart.

"I've been expecting you dear, come over. How is the fashion Industry?" She asked me sweetly, leading me to the dining table and my stomach almost grumbled and the hot mouth watering dish of spaghetti Bolognese, Barbecue fries and a side dish of Tacos with fruit juice in the glass jug.

"I'm sorry that my husband isn't around, but he will be available tomorrow. I'm so glad that someone is finally going to be with my son." She shrieked happily, her honey brown hair tendrils fell carelessly, swaying at her beautiful oval face.

I swallowed and played along. I'm not ready to sour her mood by telling her that I will never marry her son. It's not happening, not with Felix sharing a blind with him.

"Don't be stupid Lex, keep her company and make her feel at home." She yelled loudly at the arrogant control freak who dragged his feet to the table and flashed a smile that made my heart skip. This man was really beautiful but too bad I'll not get to see his face again.

"Make yourself comfortable Hun, I'll be back." She patted my back swiftly and I smiled at her, making sure she's out of sight and immediately I stood up, Startling him.

"And where are you going?" His voice was sharp and commanding.

"I apologize deeply but I can't do this, tell your mother I'm sorry." I say, taking my bag hurriedly and trying to walk past him but he scoffed, not moving or saying anything.

"The next time you get to sign anything randomly, read the terms properly. It would help." He said nonchalantly as if I was just acting on my own and none of my actions affected him.

I turned to look at Felix whose concentration was now on his phone and I bit my lips hard.

How could he act like that, so carefree and nonchalant?

"I have the right to reject and accept, don't coerce me with that." His eyes sparkled gold again and I sighed, now understanding Tue familiarity of this unique feature. He's an Alpha.

Rumor has it that the descendants of the Midnight Shade come from a lineage of wolves whose eyes sparkle gold when they are ready for war, mostly with the royals.

It looks fascinating and beautiful to watch as I've never seen such traits in Felix.

This one was a pure dangerous snack and I need to avoid it.

"That's bullshit, the moment you step out of this house; I'll destroy your life. You don't know who you're messing with Lily!" He said casually again as if he had been doing it to other people and mine would be an exception.

"Don't call me that!!" I snapped harshly at him and he stood up, twitching his jaw. His brother was the one that called me that and I had liked it but right now, it sounded like a curse to my ears.

"Did you just snap at me?"

"Look, I need to go Peacock, get another wife, another person or a Bride to hire. I can't stand this family, I could puke." I said sincerely and turned to leave but held my hands and pinned it on the wall, his eyes darkening as if I just gave him the worst insults.

"You have a flair for being stubborn right? How dare you reject my offer after signing huh? Tch! Just be because we once fucked doesn't mean anything Lily if that's what you're afraid of, I will never touch you again!" He says and my eyes grew wide like saucers trying to withdraw from his grip as Shame and hot embarrassment clouded me.

He remembers it all, he did!"

"Let go please." I seethed.

"I'll seize all your properties and make sure your parents don't let you in if you dare walk out on me."

"What?" I gasped, staring at him in shock and shook my head.

"Excuse me? Why would you do that?"

"Because I'm your husband and I have no tolerance for stubborn people.

I don't take shit flower, I'm a very strict businessman and I need cooperation and we will be cool. Since you didn't read my terms and conditions to follow, I'll say it again." He says, his grip tightening on my wrist.

"There's no going back after signing or all properties shall be confiscated from the third party.

I have a very important rule, don't ever enter my room and don't fall for me. Be a good dutiful wife and we'll be cool. Break any of my rules and watch me act according to law and power.

Your father would be thrown out from the Parliament and you will be penniless."

I shook my head in disapproval and shook my head and he felt irritated at my tears.

"I'm done here Lily, get prepared tomorrow. It's only going to last for six months "

"Please…"

"It's Lex." He said, letting me know his name.

"Please Lex, I'll do anything other than marry you. I beg you..I'll get someone for you in three days. Just leave me alone." I said and I felt a flicker of disappointment in his tone.

"No one fucking did this? Why are you begging to leave when they beg to stay?" His voice sounded like a pissed growl.

I went on my knees and crouched in bitterness.

"I'll do anything to make sure I don't stay under this family, please don't marry me Lex." I begged and he hissed.

"We are getting married tomorrow, My kid brother will show you around the mansion!"

"Are you deaf?" I yelled at him and he staggered in shock.

" I said I'm not interested in this bullshit, not when a devil is involved. I hate everything here so fucking leave me alone!!"

He chuckled and my whole heart was in torrents of rage at his sight but Lex's eyes were so mad.

He looked defeated and slapped that I got to reject his offer even though I knew that deep down there was no turning back. I'm tied to the family, A very powerful one at that who could decide my fate but I'm only willing to give it a try.

Lex grabbed my hands and walked me roughly up the stairs, reaching a door to push me inside till my body was slammed to the wall.

"I swear I'll make you take back every word you said back there until you beg shamelessly to marry me!" He growled, pinning me to the wall and I gasped when he suddenly yanked my top down that gave me cold chills and a sweet sensation down my spine.

"W.. what are you doing, Lex!" I gasped when he cupped the mounds on my chest and I let out a stupid moan but he didn't stop his sweet assault.

"Exactly what I did last night, begging me not to stop."

"I'll marry you." I cried when his hands gripped my thighs and he stopped abruptly, as if he never made an attempt to touch me and I gasped. My breathing becoming erratic as I know I would fail woefully if I let him continue his assault.

He didn't mind and to him I was a public slut who could get laid anytime and anywhere.

The thought alone made me burn in shame and Embarrassment but I swallowed and accepted my fate.

"Good girl, I'll send my driver to your house to get your bag ready. I hope you like smoking flower, I'm kinda an addict to that and I hate it when they cringe, I do a lot of weird things and I dislike complaints.." He says and Lee growled within me in discomfort knowing that we are both doomed with a Psycho Alpha.

"Can you just grant me a request please, at least one before we get married?" I asked him pleadingly and he seemed to be in deep thought when he nodded.

"You were sweet last night, I should fulfill a killer request then." He said huskily and I wondered how he tells me to stay away from him if he's clearly like this, all sexy and possessive.

"Your brother must not stay with us Lex." I told him and and he nodded which made me sighed in relief, I could play along for six months as long as Felix was afar off.

"Yeah, he won't stay but that will only happen after you've killed me." He says, making my heart drop.

"Felix goes wherever I go Lily, He's my Kid brother so deal with it."

My heart dropped.
