“Viktor, stop it!” I said pulling the man to a stop once we reached an empty alley. We had been walking around for the past hour, hiding from whatever danger he saw. But now the man’s bandage was being smudged by his blood, letting me know that he was losing a lot more than he should.

“Eliana, we need to get you as far away from here as possible” Viktor snapped despite his tired state. Had it been a different situation, I would have slapped the life out of him for this, but seeing what we were in now; I knew that I wouldn’t leave him like this.
