Chapter 34 - Intentions

"I just heard from Kiya that the guest who came with Mr. Creed is actually his wife," Alice, the silver-haired maid, shared with her fellow maids, Rose and Tara.

Tara chimed in, "I heard the same thing too. Who would have thought he had a wife?"

Rose, the redhead, challenged them, "You're talking as if you know the guy. We've been working here for the past months now, and yet I still haven't seen him face to face," she added with a hint of frustration.

Tara nodded, agreeing, "Yes, only Kiya spoke with him. Being the head maid has its perks, I guess." The maids exchanged curious glances as they discussed the unexpected revelation about their mysterious employer.

Alice suddenly voiced her irritation, asking, "Who even made her the head of the maids?" Her frustration was clear as she continued, "Just because she came here first before us doesn't exactly make her the senior to us all, I mean she is the youngest."
