Chapter 49 Won't Give Up

Regina shoved Henry forcefully and slapped him. "Stop it, Henry! Don't you dare think you can use me as your punching bag!" Regina exclaimed, her face and eyes red with anger.

The slap from Regina brought Henry back to his senses slightly. "Regina, you! How dare you slap me!"

"Henry, I've told you before, I'm not some easy girl who will tolerate your disrespectful behavior!" Regina glared at him sharply. "You can have the room all to yourself, I'll sleep in Kevin's room."

"Hey, Regina. What's really going on? Why are you so angry? Shouldn't I be the one angry?" Henry reached for Regina's hand, but was harshly rebuffed.

"Don't you realize what you've done? Henry, you're a jerk!" Regina lashed out with emotion.

"Are you daring to insult your husband?!" Henry stared at her sharply.

Regina ignored him. She left Henry there and went into Kevin's room. "Kevin, are you asleep? Can mommy sleep here?"

Kevin, still half-asleep, made room for Regina. "Yes, mommy can sleep here."

Regina lay down.
