I was almost in my car when my phone rang.

"Olivia? Why are you calling me?" I am surprised. Olivia never called me.

"I want you to come back," she said.

I halted. "Why?" I asked.

"Please, just come back upstairs. I want to talk to you," Olivia said.

"Alright," I said quietly. Normally, I would tease her more or try to make her beg for it, but something in her voice stopped me. She sounded urgent. Almost desperate.

It didn't take me long before I made it upstairs again. She opened the door after I rang the doorbell once. She must've been waiting by the door.
