My heart skipped a beat when my assistant brought me the mail, and I saw what it was.

It was an invitation to Jonathan's birthday party.

I remember Jonathan. He is Olivia's brother. But why is he inviting me to his party?

It wasn't like we were friends. I thought Jonathan hated me. Then again, Jonathan never acted like there was hostility between us the last time I saw him.

It doesn't matter, I decided. Who cares about the reason behind it? What matters is that I was invited, and now I have the opportunity to see Olivia. Even though I couldn't tell her, I still loved her.

She took me for granted and I wanted to punish her for it.

But still...the chance to be near her is thrilling. I would never miss that chance.

I called my secretary Diana and asked her to buy Jonathan a birthday present, but I didn't specify what.

"What would you like me to buy, sir?" she asked.

Shit...he didn't think about it at first, but now he was confused. What would Jonathan like?
