Gina wrapped the sheets around herself one more time, trying to get comfortable as she heard the far away alarm ringing in her head. Some part of her knew it was time to get up but she didn't want to just yet. Maybe five or ten more minutes, and she would set about her day. Instantly, she remembered that she was still a stay at home wife, so she settled down further into the bed and started to go back to sleep when she recalled the events of last night. For the first time, Henry showed his desire for her and somehow, they ended up having a steamy session together.
A part of her felt ashamed for being too easy and allowing him have his way when he insulted her and would probably do more if given the chance. However, the greater part of her was happy and quite satisfied. It was nearly obvious that he was holding back form being with her, but whether or not she was just a way to keep himself together was what she didn't know. With those conflicting feelings in mind
When Henry woke up the next morning, he was amazed to find that his hand was occupied by something. Still in the throes of sleep, it felt like a deja vu moment and he instantly recalled how he got out of bed that morning in the resort and found his wife sleeping next to him. With that in mind, he turned to his side and once again, saw his wife sleeping peacefully. She was fully turned to face him and as he noticed the bed sheets drawn up to her neck, he remembered the events of last night. He groaned in excitement and smiled at her tracing the contours of her face with his eyes. He couldn't help but remember the events of last night, especially how receptive she was to his advances. Try hard as he may, he could no longer remember what started the makeout session between them. All he knew was that one minute they were fighting, and the next, he was thrusting into her like he had never done before. Gina brought out something different in him, and it both excited and scared him. Now tha
Henry's drive to his family house was nothing short of exciting. From the unexplainable traffic jam that held him in one spot for close to thirty minutes to the multimillion dollar investment being held the next day to the thoughts of his mother finally handing him the company, his mind was filled with a lot of things. Luckily for him, he was able to get to his mother before she placed another call to him. After the fifth call, he could sense she was getting agitated and just wanted everything to be over with. That was the same thing he desired, especially as the fact that he left Gina all alone constantly hung over him.Still, he comported himself when he got to the building that housed him for two decades, before he decided to move out and make a name for himself. As he walked up the steps leading to the ornate door, he couldn't help but recall the argument he had with his parents over his decision to leave. Like any other person would, they argued about his s
By the time Henry got home, Gina had already packed her bags and was just waiting for him to get back so she could tell him about her lack of interest in the marriage. She no longer wanted to be part of the sham they were playing and whatever he wanted to do after that wouldn't be her business. After waking up to see his annoying note, Gina spent the day cursing herself for falling for a man who didn't see her worth, right before she went to his room in search of the contract paper. They were several copies in her room, but surely they had to be an original.Destroying that particular one wouldn't do anything, except make her feel a little bit better and that was what she was counting on. After searching for over an hour and trying hard not to scatter the room or make Henry aware she searched his room without permission, she finally found it in a file inside one of his secret storages. Not that they were secret anymore, but they probably would become that again
Gina was just as shocked to see Ken. When she packed her bags and decided to leave Henry's house that afternoon, she wasn't expecting her ex boyfriend to show up. There had been no communication between them after he tried to kiss her so she couldn't really understand why he was at the house. More so, it was kind of weird for him to see that she and Henry were having troubles in their relationship and just for show, she actually had the mind to just run up and give her husband a hug. She was that uncomfortable with having Ken around, but either he didn't notice that or was just trying to fool around because a smile broke into his face. "Are you leaving him already? After just one month of marriage?" Ken asked, hut it sounded more like he was mocking her. Instantly, she remembered when she was leaving his house amidst tears after catching him cheating and he told her in a fit of rage that she would never find somebody who wanted her more than he did. During their relationship, he alwa
Even after nearly half an hour, Gina couldn't believe Ken would be so wicked as to do something to her like that. Even though she knew they weren't the best of friends and everything was just to keep herself occupied till she either left Henry or he came back to his senses, she couldn't have imagined her ex boyfriend would be with her solely for the purpose of destruction. Tears stung her eyes but she willed herself not to cry. Apart from the fact that she already promised never to cry because of Ken, she didn't want to make a fool of herself.Across the corner of her eyes, she turned to look at Henry who was unusually silent through everything her ex boyfriend was saying. He was sporting one of his usual frowns and she felt like peering into his mind to ascertain what he was thinking but that couldn't be done. Instead, she settled for trying to gain his attention but still, he kept mute and just stared at Ken for a number of minutes. To Gina, it seemed like he
From Henry's room, he could hear everything going on downstairs and he felt so much like strangling Ken. It annoyed him greatly that they hadn't even finished discussing the contract marriage terms and he came to blackmail Gina. He certainly hadn't wanted to tell her just yet that his mother have him the rights to the company, because that would make her feel unwanted. He shook his head as he recalled the things he wanted to do with her that day. They would just sleep in and have fun. Looking back at it now, his mother and Ken had picked the wrongest date to bring up stuff. He couldn't deny that he was partly angry at her, because if everyone was being honest, she kept on going out with her ex boyfriend even when he adviced her not to. Immediately Henry found out who the guy was, he instantly knew it wouldn't end well. He seemed like the type of person who betrayed people, so he couldn't really say the guy's plans came as a shock to him. However, Gina was a diff
For the past one day, Gina avoided getting out of her room. Anytime she thought about food or going out, she instinctively remembered that Henry was still at home and he was only waiting for her to come out so they could discuss what would be happening next in their relationship. She knew she loved him, but his words hurt her and hearing that he no longer needed her was too much to handle. Apart from that, she didn't feel like forgiving him just yet. Even though he felt something strong for her and was unable to talk about it, that didn't mean he could just say anything. She sighed and broke another piece of the candy bar she had been using to sustain herself for over twenty four hours. She counted herself lucky that she happened to buy one during on her many outings with Ken and apparently forgot to eat it. Just then, she frowned as the thought of her ex boyfriend entered her mind. She didn't know where he was now, probably still in police custody, but a part of her really hoped he w
As they packed up the plates and told the cook to go home while they took over, Gina found it difficult to believe Henry had stayed at home for two days of his own accord, not necessarily because she forced him to. While it was true that he explained himself and confessed his real feelings for her, Gina still thought it odd that he liked her enough to leave his company in the hands of the vice chairman. He was quite a workaholic and it was something she wanted to get out of him, but that would require a lot more weeks of work and getting closer to him. She shrugged subtly and focused on cleaning their plates. They would get to that later. For now, she was more focused on the words he said to her as they ate. Apparently, he was new to being serious with relationships and she realized the reason why he hadn't been treating her right was because of his character. It was something she noticed on her own way earlier but her annoyance at his theatrics and constant moo
