Fred heard what she said and didn't know how to deal with her at first. He just hoped she wouldn't be so mad at him if she later found out what happened and the fact that Bella was here and might still be on his bed as they spoke. So he would rather not tell her, but she doesn't want to take no for an answer.

"Mom put the phone on speaker," Fred said. There's no use in him lying to his wife, which will only make him guilty. So she should tell him the truth now.

"What happened, Fred? Are you okay? Do you need me to come over there and be with you? I can't even be at peace over here knowing that you are not okay." She said and was already crying.

"This is the reason I didn't want to tell you about this, I knew you were going to get like this, and I don't want that for you. Remember the babies, you can't put them in harm's way. I'm fine now.
