Chapter 19

Brooklyn-

It had been a little unnerving having Tate so close to me. I hadn’t known what his intentions were, and it had taken me a minute to understand what he was trying to do. As we moved, I started to feel surer of myself.

Each thing he called out, he helped me with the movement. Some of the things he wasn’t able to help me in the same way, he would occasionally tell everyone to hold their position so he could correct my stance or where my limps needed to be.

I tried to remember every movement and what they were called. I appreciated what Tate had done, but I felt like it put me at a disadvantage with everyone else. If it wasn’t for me, I am pretty sure that they would have been doing more advanced things.

I was going to make it a daily routine that every chance I was able to, I would practice these moves in my room, or in private. The last thing I wanted to do, was to show everyone my incompetence.
