The pain of having a wolf’s teeth embedded in my shoulder was almost too much to take. When I felt it release me, I struggled to keep myself on my feet. I could feel my body getting weaker as the blood continued to ooze out of me.

I felt someone wrap their arms around me, from behind, causing me to instinctively lash out. Throwing my head back, I heard a grunt, but whoever held onto me kept a firm grip. Unsure if it was from feeling weak or if it was because they were much stronger than me, either way, I felt trapped.
