Loretta's POVWith Maya’s help, I cleaned up in her chambers and before she could return after being summoned, I left for the garden. Seated under the leafy tree that was at the east end of the garden, I had my head buried in my hands as I sobbed uncontrollably. This wasn't because of the humiliation Natalie had subjected me to but instead it was because of Alpha Lorenzo. I might have looked irritating and pitiful to him but that doesn't mean he should ignore me like I was a total stranger to him.
