"My wife," a man's voice said. I didn't know who he was; I couldn't see him and only heard his voice.

"Hmm?"

"My wife!"

I jolted awake, drenched in sweat, and felt an inexplicable thrill.

My wife.

Whose voice was that? Why do I often hear him in my sleep? Why do I always respond to his call?
