014~ THEIR

Leah,

"He won't stay out for long," Matt assured me as he took the duffel bag I used to pack some of Liam's clothes from me. "He just needs time to sort things out."

A tired smile stretched across my face as I nodded. It's been two weeks since he left home, and now he sends his friend to get some of his things. It doesn't seem to me like he plans on coming back soon. Then again, who am I to complain.

"You should call him." He suggested.

"I don't think that is a good idea." I said, remembering how angry he was that day.

"Honestly, Leah, if you don't, he might stay out longer than either of you needs." He sighed. "Just give him a call. The least he can do is ignore you, right?"

"I will try calling him tonight." I finally said.

He smiled at me, squeezing my arm. "I will make sure he picks, so don't worry."

"Thank you, Matt. For everything."

Later that night, I dialled his number. I bit my nail as I paced inside the room, my heart pounding against my chest as I waited for him to pick up.
