Before I could say anything to Shaylee, Dante was at the door, rushing to my side.
“What’s wrong?! I’m here! I can take you to the pack doctor. C`mon, let’s hurry!” Dante began in a panic to try and pick me up and carry me.
“Dante, stop!” I laughed at him and he froze looking up at me confused.
“What? You said something was wrong with the pups!” His eyes pierced mine with a look of love, concern and worry.

The family barbeque was enjoyable to say the least. We received many strange stares from pack members as the three of us, Callen, Dante, and I, laid in the large lounge chair together. As we reached the first border, Jackson began explaining, “This is our southern border. You never want to go past these borders. Not only will you find yourself in Mexico, but you will also run into the cartel’s guard dogs, the Chupa Cabo Pack. They’re vicious and ruthless.
