LIAM

We've been at Delilah's photo shoot for five whole minutes and I'm already getting really weird vibes from one of the producers. The aquarium is like nothing I've ever seen before. The entire place is oozing decadence, marble floors, enormous enclosures, and a huge spread of food for the models and production team today.

Tessa is talking with one of the photographers with Dels, while Tyler and I check out the food spread. Today's shoot is going to be for a fundraiser to raise money to protect a coral reef that's nearby. It looks like they are about to take Dels back to hair and makeup when the creepy producer approaches us.

"So boys, what can I do to keep you entertained while your friends get ready?" She purrs placing her hand on my bicep and Tyler and I both know she's offering more than a magazine. The woman is the definition of a cougar. Her clothes are basically painted on her body, her makeup done heavily and her long blonde hair is in waves down her back. She reminds me

DELILAH Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we just got back home to South Carolina. The paparazzi seems to be following us everywhere these days, the rumor mill going crazy with speculations about us being back together. We haven't confirmed or denied anything for them this time around. Truthfully we haven't even talked about it with each other yet. I know what Liam wants, but I'm afraid to dive back in like we did before. It seems reckless since I've already been burned twice by him, even if the second time was to protect me. So when we pull into the house that we bought together before all of this mess it's only natural that I'm a nervous wreck. Liam is grinning like the Cheshire Cat. Completely thrilled as he hops out of the car and grabs our luggage. I pause outside the front door. "Are you sure we're ready for this?" I ask sincerely. "I can stay at my dads for a while. We don't have to rush back into this." I don't see the harm in us taking it slow and building our friendship again

DELILAH I spent most of the night tossing and turning in my bed. Alone. True to his word, Liam stayed in the guest room last night. I wonder if he slept okay without me? I almost broke down and went to his bed several times, but I didn't want to wake him, or at least that's what I told myself. I glance at my phone to see that it's already 10 AM. I can't believe it's already that late. I should get up and get dressed, our parents, Tessa, Tyler, and their parents will all be here to eat and exchange gifts in a few hours. Liam told me he had everything under control and not to worry about it last night, but I should help him out anyway. I quickly scurry into our bathroom and take a quick shower. I've always been fairly low maintenance but seeing the dark circles under my eyes from deciding to sleep solo last night causes me to spend more time than usual on my makeup. When I'm finally presentable I throw on my favorite ugly Christmas sweater and a pair of skinny jeans and scurry downsta

DELILAH Not long after the oven timer goes off to let Liam know that his masterpiece is finished, the doorbell rings and I go to let our friends and family inside. This is the first time we've had people over to see our new home and it feels so strange to see them all here. "Merry Christmas guys!" I chirp as they file in, hands full of gifts and food. "Merry Christmas baby girl." My dad replies giving me a side hug with his arms full. "I brought a few things." He chuckles walking into the kitchen and placing the containers of food on the table. He then walks to where Liam is manning the stove and claps him on the shoulder. "Merry Christmas son. It smells delicious. Did you cook all this up by yourself?" He questions, his voice full of surprise. "You know it." Liam replies grinning widely. He's proud of the meal he's created. "I hope it tastes as good as it looks." Liam chuckles and moves to fist bump Ty as he enters the room. Once we've all said our greetings and placed the gifts

LIAM We're standing just outside the party house and I can hear the music thumping inside from here. I couldn't go inside without talking to Dels about where we stand first. I know she's still considering that maybe we shouldn't stay together. But I feel like we've been making steady progress over the past week or so and I know how quickly things can go south at these parties. Especially when it comes to us. People are still thinking that we split up and I don't want something dumb happening to set us back. Delilah Jane is end game for me. I don't care how many times I have to keep telling her that she's it, I will until she believes me. So when she tells me that I'm the only guy she's ever been with in that way, it's music to my ears. I thought for sure that douche Zack might've scored before I got to Tahiti. I did see him leaving her room. I was okay with it too, willing to accept it as my own fault for that fiasco I caused in LA.Dels grabs my hand distracting me from the mess i

DELILAH Somehow it never gets easier meeting girls Liam has hooked up with. When Hannah walked over to us shamelessly flirting with him while pushing her boobs up into his view, it was hard not to feel jealous and self conscious. Poor Hannah though, I actually felt a little bad for her when Liam turned an icy glare her way. He made it very clear that he wasn’t interested and that he never would be. I’m not sure what she thought would happen. Perhaps she imagined him casting me aside and pulling her into his muscular arms. When he whispers into my ear that he wants to dance I’m already trying my best to rain in my hormones. I know my man is hot and with him being ridiculously famous girls are obviously going to want him too. I wrap my arms around his neck as he pulls me onto the dance floor, my back to his front as I roll my hips back into him. He grunts appreciatively, loving the contact. I continue my movements, his hands placed on my hips as I grind down on him with my backside. A

LIAM Tessa grabs my shirt as I’m heading out the front door to look for Dels. I don't even know what the fuck just happened, but I do know the situation couldn't have looked any worse from Delilah's point of view. I am so fucked. "What did you do?" Tessa pokes me in the chest angrily. Tyler watches Hannah sidle up beside me a look of confusion crossing his face. As his eyes find mine. "I didn't do anything. She just walked in on something that looked really bad, but it was just a misunderstanding, I swear. Where did she go Tess? I need to find her." I say looking around the room to see if I spot her anywhere among the crowd. Tess watches me carefully assessing my face, just as Hannah wraps her hands around my bicep. "Hey Liam. Sorry about what happened upstairs. I had no idea your girl would catch us together." She says faking innocence as I pry her hands off of me. Tessa's eyes narrow on her. "Catch you doing what exactly?" "I was just helping him take care of a big problem he h

LIAMI swat at the alarm clock on the table next to my bed, rubbing the sleep from my eyes and wondering if I look as bad as I feel. I really tied one on last night. We had a concert in New York City and the boys and I went out to party afterwards. My head is pounding as I reach for the glass of water and Tylenol on the bedside table, greedily gulping them both down.Next I check my phone, just as I have every morning since she's been gone. At this point I'm not sure what I'm expecting to find besides more disappointment. There are a couple of texts from Ty telling me to get my ass up for the Rolling Stone shoot in a couple hours, the one we were supposed to be doing with Delilah, but still nothing from her. I haven't seen or heard from Delilah since the Christmas Eve party from Hell. You'd think by now that I would be used to the way Delilah ghosts me, instead of dealing with our problems head on, but here I am. Alone and miserable, again. Maybe that's my punishment for ghosting her

DELILAH "Are you sure you don't want to go to the Stones shoot today?" Tessa asks me hesitantly for the fifth time in an hour. "Of course I'm sure. That would be so incredibly awkward. We both know what kind of questions they would ask and we both know what kind of photos they are after. I can't even manage to send him a text to apologize. There's no way I'd make it through the interview." I explain again. Tessa frowns, "You should just talk to him Lilah. You're both suffering and you don't have to be. You know he will forgive you.""You don't understand." She keeps pressuring me to try to talk to him, but I was such a bitch that night. I didn't even give him a chance to explain. He's better off without me. I'm sure he's found someone to distract himself with by now anyway. I check my phone again and there's a message from my dad, but still no word from him. He must be over my bullshit. He hasn't even tried to call or text me since the party on Christmas Eve. I can't really blame

DELILAH I’m not sure of the exact moment that I realized I wanted Liam Anderson to be mine forever. It could have been on the beach when we would collect shells and build castles when I was 6. I remember thinking that his smile reminded me of sunshine and I couldn’t control the butterflies when he would unleash it on me.Or it could’ve been the times we snuck out in fifth grade to catch lightning bugs in jars or when we’d sneak some of moms freshly baked cookies before dinner. It could’ve been any of the numerous times he had my back if the other kids at school teased me. It could’ve been the time in middle school when we held hands or when he saved me from having to do 7 minutes in heaven with Gavin in 7th grade. Liam has always been such a large part of my life. Staring at him up on stage now, I try to think of what my life would be like in ten years if Liam wasn’t in it. A tear slips down my cheek as I realize that’s not the life that I want. The guys have just finished playing th

LIAM "Are you two officially back together?" A reporter chirps shoving her recorder in our faces after we just finished filming a segment for the live show. I look at Delilah, wondering what she's thinking as I reply, "We're still working things out." Dels frowns at my response as the reporter steps in closer. "That's too bad. So who will you be kissing at midnight then?" She asks winking at me and stepping in closer. "I'm free." She mentions, raising a brow at Dels. I'm not sure if that comment was meant for me or Delilah at this point, but I'm not taking any chances. I take Delilah's hand and thread my fingers with hers before quickly responding. "I can say with certainty that if I'm not kissing this amazing girl at midnight, I most definitely will not be kissing anyone else." I look hopefully into those honey brown eyes that I love so much to see if she feels the same way. "I don't know," she teases coyly, but her eyes are telling me that she agrees with me completely. DELILAH I haven't heard from Liam at all today, which is strange considering he was all over me last night. I've been replaying last nights events in my mind and I don't remember anything happening that would have made him upset with me. It's New Years Eve and we are supposed to be hosting a party together in a few hours. I'm hoping it won't be awkward but at this point I'm pretty annoyed that he hasn't even attempted to talk to me or even sent me a text after sneaking out of my room early this morning. He must have changed his mind. After spending an hour with hair and makeup Tessa and I are all dolled up and ready for tonight's shenanigans. The event is being held on top of a fancy hotel in Time's Square. The place is decked out in gold trimmed everything, looking extremely extravagant and festive. When we arrive the guys are already testing out their microphones and chatting with the camera crew. Liam notices me first nodding in my direction, but makes no attempt to talk to me. T

DELILAH A knock on the door wakes me from my drunken slumber. I roll over and notice that Liam's not in the bed anymore and all of his belongings are gone. Strange. I could have swore he stayed the night. Why would he sneak out in the middle of the night without saying bye? Did I do something to upset him? I climb out of bed and make my way to the door cracking it open to see who is knocking."Hey Tessa. Why are you waking me up so early?" I grumble. "It's not early Lilah. It's almost noon. You need to shower and get ready to host the New Years Eve party." She smiles at me, before glancing around the room in confusion. "Is Liam not here? I thought you two made up last night." "I guess he didn't come back with me last night. I'm not sure, things are a bit hazy." "Huh, well anyway you need to get showered and then we can grab some brunch before we head over to the party." I nod and head to the bathroom to get ready. Maybe a hot shower will help me remember last nights events a bit b

DELILAHWe sat at the bar for hours tossing back shots and drinking together before I finally got the nerve to ask him on our way to my room. "Was that little stunt you pulled tonight completely necessary?" I cock my eyebrow and pucker my lips as I wait to hear him explain his actions earlier. "I wasn't running off.""I'm sorry babe. You weren't where you said you'd be and I saw you by the exit and I don't know. I just panicked." His words slurring a bit as he runs his hand through his hair and then takes my hand in his and squeezes. "I thought you were taking off and I reacted before thinking. I'm sorry."I shake my head at him playfully. "You owe me big time, calling me out in front of all those fans and celebrities." I continue walking down the lit corridor until we arrive at my room. I turn toward him to see him awkwardly standing with his hands in his pockets, unsure of his next move. Smiling I reach for my room key in my bag and take it out to tap it against the lock. "Well, thi

LIAM The huge rush that I get when I walk out onto the stage for a show never gets old. My adrenaline is pumping when I look out into the crowd and it's only heightened when I feel her brown eyes on me from the side of the stage. I turn my head raking my eyes over her one last time before I have to divert my attention to the crowd of people screaming our names in front of me. I'll have her screaming my name later. Damn, she looks so good tonight, I could eat her. There is actually nothing that I'd rather do at the moment. I feel myself getting more excited than I need to be in front of all these people and give her a wink before forcing myself to pull my eyes off her. "Hey New York! Are you ready to party? How about we play you some tunes?" My questions are immediately answered with cheers, whistling, and camera flashes as I put the microphone back into the stand and swing my guitar around to begin playing. "Alright then. My boys are a bit hungover from last night, so let's show the

DELILAH Before I realize it, Liam has me pinned between his hard body and the bar. His lips just inches away from mine. "What if I don't want you to kiss me?" I ask coyly glancing from his hazel eyes back to his soft lips. I so want him to kiss me right now. My heart is pounding in my chest and I wonder if he can tell just how badly I want it.Liam's breath hitches as he leans in, "Dels," he whispers, his voice husky. My knees feel shaky and I'm pretty sure that if it weren't for the bar behind me, I'd be a puddle of mush on the floor by now. His lips barely graze mine and as I lean in to close the distance he pulls back, his eyes full of mischief. My jaw drops and I stare at him in disbelief. I can barely form a coherent sentence. "Wha... Why did you pull away?" I manage to mutter as he eyes me amused."You said you didn't want me to kiss you. I was just following orders." He places his hands on my hips, his fingers caressing the exposed part of my back where my dress dips down low.

You know how they are. They are probably still getting ready. You should have a drink and relax. You're not doing yourself any favors getting all wound up like this."I roll my eyes at him, "Easy for you to say. You're not the one in love with someone who's constantly running away from you. I need some kind of tracking device for her." I joke and Ty raises his brows at me questioningly. "I'm not sure that joke would go over well." He states glancing around the room. These celebrity parties are always well attended and tonight is no different. Dozens of actors, musicians, and celebrities mingling together to bring in the New Year. "Don't look now, but they just walked in." He whispers his eyes motioning behind me. Of course I do exactly what he says not to do and my eyes instantly lock with her go
