Chapter 32 Going Home

After a long time, Murong Xue put down these golden needles and closed the box carefully. “I have checked the golden needles. There isn’t anything wrong with them. They are made very exquisitely. I want to help Zilin nurse his body for a week first and then apply these golden needles to him. What do you think?”

“I am OK with that. I am not good at treating illnesses. Xue, you can make the decision. By the way, don’t you handle those several robbers?”

When Murong Xue saw the herb field was still complete, she took a deep breath. If the herb field had been ruined a little, her heart would have ached so much. Fortunately, those chickens didn’t run here. They just ate the fruit, which fell from the trees.

Murong Xue knocked her own head to see whether she had become silly after she relived her life. What was she thinking about?

However, when Murong Xue looked at the chickens all over the mountains and plains, she really felt a headache. It would be better if she could gather all these chickens together.

When Murong Xue saw it was lovely Zilin who opened the door, she hugged him happily and gave him a kiss on his cheek. “Zilin, you are so cute!!!”

Mo Zilin pouted. “Miss, I have grown up. I am not lovely!!”

“Ha-ha. Fine. I will not make a joke about you. Ask your elder brother to go to my house to have breakfast.”

“OK. The dishes that Miss cooks are the most delicious.” Then, he didn’t care whether his elder brother had hung up or not. He pulled his elder brother’s sleeve and went to Murong Xue’s suite.

Mo Ziwen put down his telephone. He looked at his sleeve that had been pulled like fried dough twists by his own younger brother and smiled hopelessly.

At this time, Mo Zilin had sat on the desk and began to eat. “Elder brother, come here quickly. The porridge that Miss cooked is so tasty.”

When he was little, he and his mother depended on each other. He had never seen his father. Sometimes he ran to his mother and asked her where his father was. His mother didn’t tell him. Then she would keep crying. He had asked her about his father several times. Later, he didn’t dare to ask her again. When his mother looked at him, it seemed that she was looking at someone else through him. He didn’t know it when he was little. He didn’t know why his mother always looked at him and memorized silently.

Later, his mother passed away, too. He didn’t hear what the doctor talked about clearly. He only knew that he had been abandoned by this world. In that year, he was 13 years old...

Later, in one year, a man, who wore beautiful clothes and took after him, walked to him. When that man looked at him, it seemed that he was looking at a worm. Then that man said quietly, “Let’s go, my son!”

Chu Yisen stopped recollecting. Then he naturally went to the kitchen to take a bowl and a pair of chopsticks. Then he added some porridge to the bowl. “Xue, you are so mean to me. We have been so familiar, but you don’t invite me to have breakfast with you?!!!” After Chu Yisen drank a mouthful of porridge, he stopped talking. He began to wolf the porridge down. Several days had just passed, but Xue had improved her cooking skills so significantly.

When Murong Xue saw Chu Yisen’s quick and smooth movements, her mouth twitched much harder.

Fortunately, she had cooked lots of porridge today. It was nothing if one more person came here to drink the porridge. But she didn’t know that how much she would regret opening the door for him this morning when she thought about today in the future. As a result, one more person would come here to cadge meals at the table every day in the future.

It was the weekend today. She could take Mo Zilin and Mo Ziwen to her home to meet her parents. She would let them get familiar with each other. As for somebody who came here to cadge meals, of course, she would get rid of him as soon as possible.

When Murong Xue returned to her home, nobody was in the kitchen. So she put lots of vegetables and two chickens there. When she walked out of the kitchen, she saw Ms. Wu and said to her, “Ms. Wu, I bring some vegetables and chickens here. They are in the kitchen. Go to the kitchen and deal with them a little.”

Ms. Wu had been accustomed to it. The Eldest Miss brought home some vegetables and chickens from time to time. So she didn’t gossip idly as she had done in the beginning. She said yes directly and walked into the kitchen.

Murong Xue settled Mo Ziwen and Mo Zilin in the living room. They sat properly with a serious mien. They straightened their backs.

Mo Ziwen was OK. But Zilin was so nervous that his face became a little pale.

When Murong Xue saw this, she felt very unwilling. She walked to Zilin and talked with him gently, “Zilin, do you like my home?”

Mo Zilin smiled a rigid smile and answered, “Yes, I do.”

As soon as Mo Ziwen saw Murong Xue’s parents, he stood up to meet them. Then he greeted them, “Mr. Murong, Mrs. Murong... I am sorry to bother you.”

Murong Xue jumped and leaped to her father and pulled his face, on which the smile was not obvious. “Dad, smile. Look at you. You are so serious. You scare Zilin.”

Murong Fenghua’s face was pulled to deformation by Murong Xue. He pretended to be angry and said, “Loosen your hands. Behave yourself!” But his eyes were full of smiles.

A trace of admiration and expectation flashed in Mo Zilin’s eyes...

Zhang Keren saw it. What an innocent child! She thought about it in her mind. Previously, she had the heart to observe them seriously. But now she relaxed a lot.

Zhang Keren only had one daughter, Murong Xue. So she couldn’t help worrying about her daughter’s life and the friends that her daughter made. Previously, she had been so worried for long when Xiao Keli hung out with Murong Xue. Although Xiao Keli was still young, she was a scheming person.
