Third Person's POV
[Fifteen Years Ago...]
"May your soul be free from now on. Till we meet again, my friend..."
Nadia struggled to fix Reddina's body as she carefully puts her friend's head on the ground. She holds Reddina's hands one more time and stared at her face.
"There's no time..." she whispered. Nadia caresses Reddina's face and smiled sadly.
"Goodbye..." she muttered softly and slowly stood up and turns her back. Each step she takes is like a poison, slowly killing her. She stops after some steps and looked at the sky.
The moon shines brightly despite its darkness. Several stars are shining through the night. It's as if, they are expecting a visitor and they need to shine their way up there. She smiled and heaved a sigh.
"Now, I'm glad, you're not alone..." she mumbled and glance sideways in her friend's
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...]"Blue!" Red shouted when she saw her sister nearly fall on the stairs. It's a good thing she managed to grab her sister's hand."What happened?" Red asks Blue who seems trying to find air. Blue looked at her sister's eyes and she couldn't help but cry in Red's arms."Why are you crying? And who told you to sneak in the middle of the night?" Red asks but still, Blue continued crying."Blue, stop crying okay? You can't even breathe properly right now..." Red says and puts her sister beside the wall just in front of the stairs and leans her into the wall."I'll just get you a glass of water, stay here," Red said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Blue just stared at her sister, walking down the stairs as she keeps swelling up tears. She closed her eyes and think. She's troubled about something. It can mak
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...]"What are you doing Red? Why are you holding a knife?" Blue asks in bewilderment. Red didn't answer her so she just walks and stops behind a chair. She leaned closer or better say rest her arms on the armrest of the chair and looked at her sister closely."Answer me Red" she commanded. Red lifts the knife reason why Blue bends her upper body backward to avoid the sharpness of the knife."I'm going to cook why?" Red answered. Blue sigh in relief and sat at one of the chairs and watch her sister chop some ingredients. She now realized what is the purpose of Red, holding such a dangerous weapon."Why are you suddenly cooking? It's my job, yah know" Blue says and puts her chin
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...]"I don't think so. Why do you ask?" Quenda playfully said and stared at the two little girls in front of her.Red shrugs her shoulders and walks past her and says, "Blue, let's go" Blue nods her head even though Red couldn't see it."Excuse us" Blue turns to Quenda and smiled. Blue was about to take a step forward when Quenda held her left arm causes her to stop."I am looking for Naiah, do you know her?" as Blue heard what Quenda ask, her curiosity deepens."Why are you looking for her?" Blue asks, she remembered what she heard earlier in the news."Just because" shrugging, Quenda looks intently at Blue's eyes."Nevermind. Anyway, nice meeting you, ciao!" Quenda walks past her. Blue only watches her until she's gone in her sight."Blue!" startled,
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...] (A week later...) "Red..." Blue called her sister's name. She settled herself at the ground as she asks that and looks at her sister, which is a meter distance from her."Why?" Red asks and looks up at the clear blue sky. The place they're in is silent and peaceful. It is calm to hear the dance of the leaves and the song of the birds despite how lonely the place is."Do you think, it's an accident?" Blue asks while staring at one particular thing in front of her. Blue caress it as if it was her fluffy bear toy. She heard Red heaved a deep breath and a little while, heard Red's footsteps getting louder and louder as the seconds pass by. Blue's just staring blankly at the thing in front of her until she felt Red sat beside her."Do you?" Red asks instead of answering her question. Not even
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...] Red went to the bathroom, veranda, walk-in closet, and even under the bed, but she found nothing."That brat! Where the hell did she go?" Red exclaim and went into her room. Once inside, she gets her black hoodie and wears it. She didn't waste any time and she almost runs just to look for her sister faster than the time."Geez!" she hisses when she almost slip down the stairs. She hurriedly walks her way into the door. But before opening it, she reaches for her outdoor slipper. She touches the doorknob and she's about to open it when she heard a voice, calling her name."Red!" she creases her forehead and opens the door. She went out and look at her left side when she heard her voice again. She tilts her head and walks near the gate. She walks slowly and it frustrates her because she doesn't know why she's hesitant. From
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...] One night, Red was busy on her computer. She's too busy browsing her files that she didn't notice the knocking on the door. Blue opens the door and sighs when she sees her sister busy and immersed in whatever she's doing. She went inside and grabbed a chair and place it behind her sister. She can see what Red was doing all the time."You're here?" Red asks when she saw the reflection of Blue on the screen. Blue smiled and uttered a 'yes'. Red just nod her head and went back in browsing."What are you doing?" Blue asks, she can't seem to understand how can Red has been busy to the point that she's locking herself in her room."Nothing much..." Red muttered not glancing back to Blue. Blue nods her head and just watch."Where were you that time?" Blue furrowed her brows when Red asks her something. Bl
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...] "Where are you going this time, Blue? This early?" sarcasm can be heard in Red's voice. Blue fix her white hoodie and turns her back to face Red at the top of the stairs."Oh, you're early" Blue muttered and nervously smiled at her. Red raises her right brow and crosses her arms under her chest."Avoiding my question, really" smiling, Blue thought, 'she must have a bad morning, and I'm doomed. With that thought, Blue sighs and walks into their living room just beside the stairs. She takes a seat on the couch and leans her back on it."Are you planning to go there, again?" Blue stops herself from yawning and looks at her sister walking down the stairs."I am, and I tell you, I can help myself okay? No need to worry" Blue said and raise both of her arms as if surrendering to the cops."I kn
Third Person's POV[Fifteen Years Ago...] "Damn! That startled me" Red exclaims as she glances at the shattered glass on the floor. She was silently washing the glass when it slipped on her hands. She shook her head and she went to the backdoor to get a dustpan. She knelt on the floor and pick the shattered glass. After that, she swept the leftover pieces of glass."Weird," she mumbled and continue washing the plates and all. Her heart is still beating fast and she's starting to feel anxious. She tilts her head and sighs. When done, she went into the living room and stood at the center. She looks around the house. She felt empty. She doesn't want what she's feeling now. Empty and alone, that's worse than being dead. She heaved a sigh and went upstairs. She walks slowly and in deep thoughts. She doesn't know why she stops in front of Blue's roo
|Epilogue| Third Person's POV In the middle of the night where the moon illuminates the darkness all over the things that have been left out, grieving hearts scattered all over the place. Deaths. Bloods. Fights. War. A woman in red stood right in the middle of the chaos as she looked around her. She was panting and breathing hard because of the continuous fights with the enemy who strikes them a surprise attack. Men are scattered with their guns, swords, daggers, and all weapons tightly gripped by their hands ready to slaughter all the people who will block their way. The enemy has brought too many men in blacks and the group of the woman in red ere barely handling the situation. She gritted her teeth while watching her comrades trying their best to fight but she knew, they'd lost it. The war that wasn't even in the half of it, she knew their time has come to an end. And whether she
Red's POVWhen they left the place, I continue observing the place where the explosion happened. I know that they're here because there's something that they left behind."Red," D's voice pulls me out in my reverie. I felt him move and stand beside me."What is it?" I ask without looking at him.My mind is still messy. I couldn't just talk to him without my senses in the right place. There's a lot to think about right now.I don't even know where to start again. It seems like I forgot all the plans that I planned before meeting my father after long years of being apart from each other.I just want to feel that I'm still not alone in this lonely world. I wish my twin is with me and my mother is still alive watching me get all my achievements. But it's all about my empty wishes that could never happen because they are already in the other world. They left me."H-Hey!
Red's POV***"You need to go home, Red. I'm going" her dad was about to leave her but she holds the hem of his dad's hoodie."You're not leaving again, Dad. Go home with me" she said, pleading rather. But her dad just looked at her, apologetically."You don't understand, go home" he coldly said and took a step forward but a gunshot startled them, not to mention, Red was only a child. It was her first time to encounter such a situation."Damn!" Her dad cursed. He unconsciously gets his pocket knife in his pocket. As he turned around, he accidentally pointed his knife at her daughter's eyebrow causing it to bleed."Stay here, no, go back and leave this place, hurry!" Her dad shouted. He was to focus on the culprit who fired the gun he didn't notice that he hurt her daughter.I open and close my eyes as I rose from my bed. I winced in pain when I tried to move my
Red's POVDo you know the feeling when a certain person loved you so dearly but takes it away from you for no reason at all? The feeling when your day is filled with happiness and contentment only to be kept away from your hands? The feeling when you're so invested to the point you no longer have something to invest? Do you know that?I can only imagine myself, throwing him words afterwords. Giving him questions after questions. Why after what. What after how. Fuming with anger, I slash my dagger deep in his neck while my other hand loosens my grip causes him to fall, not breathing anymore, he's dead. I tightly grip the handle of my blade as I glare at the men in black scattered all around the place.I grab the collar of the man who's about to pull the trigger as he pointed it to Z. She's busy punching and kicking men in black in front of her. Wonder where her gun is right now. I shrugged and as I
Red's POVThe emotions of being alone pierced my little heart, screaming unheard voices that were kept throughout the years of being hidden.Like an abandoned place, no one seems to want to wander around the thought, what had happened before it was left without a word? What had happened to make such unreasonable reason for it to be left alone in the dark, away from the light? What had happened?Maybe that was why darkness ruled over me, it never left as they did. It was with me through thick and thin that they never even bothered to do. It was within that caused it to bloom inside me that I can never tell if I can ever lift myself from drowning in it. I can never tell.Staring at myself in front of my whole-body mirror, I can't help but be astonished as I look fine than usual. From my red hairband down to my red crop top and black tattered shorts. I'm wearing my comfortable black-red converse as I t
Red's POV"She left already?" Z asks while walking down the stairs. I nod my head and lay down on the couch and close my eyes. "And you told her the truth?" she added. I sigh and open my eyes and stared at the ceiling. "Just told her about Quenda," I said, I heard her sneered. I rolled my eyes and get up from lying on the couch. I look at Z and we both nod our heads. We went inside the kitchen. I sat at one of the chairs and watch Z go to the sink as she washed her hands. I glance at my left where the fridge is. I stood up and open it. "Where's my choco drink?" I ask Z who's busy chopping the apple fruit. She lifts her head and looks at me and shrugged. "I don't drink choco so, it's not me. Ask my brother" I close my eyes and tried not to burst out. He really is trying to piss me off. I heave a deep breath and went back to my seat.
(When Naiah and Quenda meet in the middle of the night)Red's POV"What is it?""Just try to act with them. Everything they asked you to do, just pretend that you have no choice and do it without hesitation" I said. "Who are they?" I smiled at her"Sin and Kanner""What?!" she was so shocked that her eyeballs might fall from their sockets. "Yes. There's one thing you should do aside from that," I said. I looked up to see the night sky that was always making me calm. Dark, I love darkness no matter what other people say. I grew up with it, with darkness. "I don't understand you" I chuckled darkly and looked at her eyes with so much coldness. Her eyes wavered. She tried to hide it from me but she can't as she gulped down. "You should. Or better yet, just die without bidding goodbye to y
Red's POV"It's funny how fate played our lives, tsk" I mumbled as I laugh. I turn my back and look at the crazy girl. "Come with me," I said and walk past her. She held my arm cause me to stop. I didn't look at her and stared ahead of me. "Why would I?" she asks, I scoffed and smirked and glanced at her sideways. I shake my head and held her hand on my right arm and face her. I stared straight at her eyes, she didn't budge even a little. I smiled in my mind, she's so much different from Quenda. She's strong and she knows when to act. Though she acts crazy sometimes, it doesn't mean that she's really crazy. She's just like that. "Wanna know the reason for Quenda's death?" her eyes widen but she hides it from me, real quick. I drop her hand and continued walking. I let her decide on her own. If she'll follow me, then good. If not, that's okay. It's not my problem anymore. S
Red's POVI hurriedly get out of the car when I saw a car crushed at one of the trees not far away from the signboard saying, 'Abandoned Road'. I run towards the car not waiting for D to come out of the car. My heart is racing and it seems that anytime it would come out of my chest. Tori, what happened? I ask inside my mind. As soon as I am beside the car, Tori's car. I know, it's her car because of the color, it's blue. I shake my head upon blurting out the word 'blue' inside my head. "Tori?" I asks and went to the driver's seat door. I furrowed my brows when there's no Tori inside the car. I open the door and crease my forehead when it's not locked. Knowing how conscious Tori was of her things, this is strange and doubtful. When I open the door, I search through all of her things. I check her dashboard and every corner of her car. Too strange when I find it n
