Chapter 782

#Mona took the tea tray and waved at Maria, signaling her to leave first.

She could not hear anything through the door.

Mona lifted her hand to knock on the door. Before long, Jennifer came to open the door. When she saw Mona, a look of panic flashed across her eyes but was quickly replaced by impatience.

“Why are you here at this hour?”

“I heard from the maids that we have a guest who still hasn’t left. I thought you’ll probably talk until late at night, so I brewed a pot of your favorite tea for you to freshen up.”

Mona glanced past Jennifer and looked into the room, but nobody was there.

“Which big-mouthed maid told you I had a guest?” Jennifer said angrily, “Ginny came to visit me when she heard something happened at home. She left a short while after. I’m the only one in my room now.”
