Thaddeus pondered before agreeing with Mona. If he rushed in like that, clueless people would think he was going to bully the children.

Instead, Thaddeus turned around and looked at his son, who was engrossed next door. An idea crossed his mind. He bent down, picked up an ocean ball from the pool, and threw it in Bobby’s direction.
