Sarah's POV

“What's going on here?” Justin asked as he noticed the tension between the both of us. Well, I had no problem. He should have asked his so-called best friend to explain to him why she looked so pale after I walked in on her, in the middle of a phone call.

I clutched the files in my hands as I held them across my chest, as I handed him the files and everything that concerns the K-group project.

“I came to drop that off, Sir.” I said calmly, avoiding the meeting of his gaze with mine, I just didn't have the time to feel any surge of anger right now.

Walking out of his office, holding my breath in tension . I tried to look poise and unbothered with what happened there.

As soon as I slammed the door gently, it was like I just got out of a suffocating room into the room of survival. Still holding my breath, I immediately exhale in relief, heading back to my desk.
