Once in his office, Hughes pulled Ethan into his lap as he sat down on the couch. Hughes ran his fingers down the side of his little Omega's cheek.

"Before we start, I just want you to know I'm not mad at you. I know the things you said, and the way you reacted with Jeremy, is only because of how much you care about your best friend. I know you're concerned about Jacob and very protective of him. And from what I overheard of his past, you have a very good reason to be overprotective of him.
